Milford's on Third

150 3rd St, Baton Rouge, LA

Crema's Take

Milford's on Third is a downtown hotel café with genuinely warm service and a pleasant atmosphere that works well for lingering over breakfast or meeting a friend, though the kitchen's execution can be inconsistent—some guests rave about items like the Sea Smoke bagel with salmon while others find the quality underwhelming for the price point. The made-to-order options like bagels and breakfast burritos show promise when they land right, but the overall experience feels like it's still finding its footing after recent menu changes.

Typical hotel cafe… too expensive! Server was nice and atmosphere good, but empty.

Super disappointed in our experience. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it was definitely more. This is basically a hotel coffee shop. The eggs were powdered, the sausage we could barely cut and the bacon was hard. The only good things were the grits and free coffee. I thought this would be a cute little breakfast spot on our way through Louisiana and it was extremely underwhelming. Guess i should have done more research before going.

Went to breakfast while staying in downtown Baton Rouge. The Sea Smoke bagel breakfast with salmon was great. Perfectly put together and delicious. Wonderful service and atmosphere.

This place used to have an awesome Ham/Turkey wrap for $9 bucks, that had a solid pound of meat in it. Made to order! But now the menu has changed. All of the cold sandwich are grab-and-go (who knows when they were made) and the hot sandwiches aren't worth the price. Paid $15 bucks for 2 slices of pastrami and a bag of chips. Completely dead inside during a lunch hour work day, which means the locals don't even eat there. Kinda sad... this place used to be great.

Everything bagel with lemon cream cheese was good. Breakfast burrito was decent , grits were kinda plain . I asked for cheese and hot Sauce to help.
