My family's go-to bakery for the most amazing birthday and special occasion cakes! If you're looking for your dream cake to come to life, this is where you should go! The most talented creative cake designers and DELICIOUS too! My kids look forward to meeting with Alice every year and picking a treat from the case!

Can't believe this is the first time I have ever been here. So many goodies to choose from. I specifically went in there for the limited release of the famous dynamite sticks (cannoli with a crunchy outside layer of health with caramel inside) and couldn't pass up this pistachio cream puff. Everything looked so good I can't wait to come back. Nice sitting area there as well.

I had a work meeting and our Worcester office is just up the road from this cute cafe! Off street parking. Big display cases of goodies. It was so hard to choose! I sought out this bakery specifically for their ability to do gluten free desserts. Scoped it out for the family member with the allergen. You can see their baking facilities through glass windows just beside the cafe area! I love watching bakers work their magic. Espresso drinks were so good hence the non aesthetic pictures of them nearly gone! Confetti cupcake was so delicious! I love how thick they make the frosting! I’ll be making excuses to come to the Worcester office just for this spot

We love Bean Counter. My husband and I both went to WPI and Bean Counter was always a special treat during our years there. This past fall we got married and from the start of planning I knew that I wanted our cake to come from Bean Counter. We did side by side taste tests with some other well rated bakeries but Bean Counter came out on top. We were surprised how many cakes are dry or have an off flavor, but Bean Counter’s cake is perfect and flavorful. Their buttercream frosting is my absolute favorite as it is particularly creamy. Rather than a traditional wedding cake, we opted for one of their standard decorated cakes with a beautiful floral pattern that perfectly matched our aesthetic and a sheet cake with photos of the two of us. Both came out amazing and I can’t wait to enjoy the second tier of our cake on our anniversary!

Friendly and fast service and a great variety of treats. The massive cookie sandwiches were $7.50 each and the cookie dough bars were $5. I did trip on the rug coming in. Thankfully ankle was only mildly tweaked, but I moved it and brought it to the attention of the staff. It is not flat. Needs addressed. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome which makes my joints loose so it’s kind of my worst fear to enter a place with a rug that isn’t flat and get hurt right away and it happened today.
