Crema's Take

Cozy Corner Cafe nails that nostalgic 50s diner charm with genuinely excellent comfort food—think perfectly executed eggs Benedict and three-meat skillets that justify the drive. Staff here move with real care and attentiveness despite the buzz, making this unpretentious spot feel like a neighborhood gathering place where you can show up exactly as you are and be treated like a regular.

This was such a cute breakfast spot. Kind of has old timey diner vibes. The wait staff was so friendly and on top of it. I ordered the eggs Benedict and hashbrowns. This place actually knows how to make hashbrowns – perfectly crispy.

I can't believe I waited so long to come here! It's nothing fancy - you can show up with bed head and slippers if you want. The food is so good though!! The staff runs around like chickens but they're all so helpful and work like a team. You might give order to one person, coffee from another and food crib the third bit they're fast, efficient and pleasant to speak with. I highly recommend coming!!!

I switched it up today with the three meat skillet and raisin toast, and it was seriously tasty. The 50s-style diner vibe is super fun, Kris took great care of me like always, and the prices and food totally hit the mark.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First Visit & Definitely Not the Last! I visited The Corner Café at 5901 E McKellips Rd in Mesa for the first time—and let me just say, I was seriously impressed! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with big smiles and genuine friendliness. They were super attentive, checked on us multiple times, and made us feel right at home. The place was spotless—including the bathrooms (which always says a lot about how a place is run). Now let’s talk about the food… the country fried steak was out of this world! You can tell the chef puts real heart into every plate—perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and seriously comforting. If you’re looking for good vibes, great service, and delicious food, this little gem is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back! 🍽👏

I’m found this quaint breakfast and lunch restaurant just by searching Google maps and looking for good reviews. It is not that close to us but we gave it a shot on a breakfast outing with a friend. First off this is probably the most friendly place I have very been. As we walked in the workers were hugging their regular customers and the friendly banter was charming. Just the nicest people there, both the employees and the customers. Everyone was really nice and chatty but not in a way that would bug you, just pleasant. The food was good and fresh. I had the pork chops and eggs breakfast and my pork chops were tasty and I enjoyed my breakfast. My wife had to try their chicken fried steak and it was also quite good. Our friend got a custom order and they were very accommodating. My only complaint was the coffee was a bit weak for me. I’ll try it again, maybe it was a bad batch. Not bad coffee, don’t misunderstand. Just weak for my taste. This is a place I wish was closer to us. I would come here every week if it were. As is we will get back up there soon. It will be a good place for a breakfast ride once the weather cools down just a bit.
