Crema's Take
“Brothers Egg House is a nostalgic neighborhood gem in Houston where home-style breakfast and lunch hit exactly right, with generous portions of classics like perfectly fluffy omelets, crispy biscuits, and comfort food specials that keep regulars coming back. The retro 1980s atmosphere pairs beautifully with genuinely kind staff who make families and solo diners alike feel welcomed and cared for, turning a simple meal into a warm, unpretentious experience that somehow deserves more than five stars.”

Such a wonderful and delicious breakfast every single time we go! Not only is the food great, the staff is kind and accommodating. We love this place!
The food was amazing, The server was kind and very helpful, and this reminds me of the 1980s, on top of that it wasn't even expensive, this deserves 10 stars not 5.
This really makes me question people's version of what good food is! 🤔. I had a veggie omlette with mushrooms, Grits with cheese and a biscuit. The biscuit wasn't bad, the veggies omelette tasted like egg Foo young. Grits had a kraft singles slice of cheese. Probably the off brand. And it was completely bland and slightly watery. I won't be back! ✌🏻
First time coming here today. Wow, where have I been, not knowing of this place? It’s good home cooking style food. The lunch specials today were fried catfish or beef tips and rice. They’re both offered for $8.99. I ordered beef tips, and asked for a bed of potatoes instead of rice, which they accommodated, no problem. The portions are generous. What a deal for 9 bucks! The beef tips are treated well, clearly seared before being slow braised, probably overnight. They’re tender and savory, spiced well. My wife ordered pancakes and bacon for lunch, and they were generous as well. Yeah, this place is great. We are definitely returning.
Tried Leo’s Country Kitchen this morning for breakfast with my family. We tried a little bit of everything. We had chicken fried chicken with eggs and hash brown, french toast, pancakes, also had a healthy meal grilled chicken with green beans, and mash potatoes. Everything we tried was very flavoring. Leo him self greeted us and made sure we received all we ordered. Staff was very friendly and it was a very welcoming environment. Nice place so close to home. I’m sure we will be here a few times a week. Give Leo’s Country Kitchen a try you won’t regret it 😉
