Crema's Take

This beloved Springfield spot brings authentic Central American flavors to Oregon with genuine care, earning passionate loyalty for both their expertly crafted coffee and surprisingly excellent food that locals had been craving. Beyond the traditional and specialty drinks, Las Dos Palmas shines with creative signature beverages and a thoughtfully curated breakfast and light food menu featuring standouts like perfectly fried plantains and flavorful tortas that keep customers coming back. The warm community spirit here—evident in their willingness to step in for a wedding catering emergency—makes it feel less like a coffee shop and more like a gathering place where quality ingredients and genuine hospitality are non-negotiable.

We love Los Dos Palmas, everything is so flavorful and they have a ton of interesting specials that we always love to try. We even had them cater our wedding after another place cancelled on us at the last minute. They were so gracious, kind, and made the best wedding food. Our friends are still talking about it! The owners are reliable, communicative, and make great food- a combination that seems to be hard to find in the Eugene/Springfield area.

Today is the first time we have tried the food. We are extremely excited that we have such delicious food this close to home. We have been customers of quack taco for some time and now we have a new favorite. Chicken taco = tons of flavor. Carne Asada Nachos = best nachos ever. Honestly we have never had better nachos from anywhere. I was completely satisfied with the special. It was 4 green enchiladas with rice. So full of flavor. I feel that this cart is perfect for this neighborhood. I recommend this cart to anyone who wants high quality flavor.

Update 6/25- tried the tortas they are nice lunch size portion (smaller than your regular tortas) a little messy but really good, carnitas was good not too salty i could use some lime and salsa Verde next time 👍🏾. The asada was really good too very flavorful u can taste the seasonings. Plátano for is 100% I love checking out and supporting new businesses. This place is newly opened they are open from 6-6. Super friendly guy(he makes and sells hats too), fast service, the food was delicious i got the tropical brunch for breakfast, it was like having breakfast at my mom's house yummy homemade! They also sell some household items in the back of the truck. Definitely will be back to try the tortas and tacos

The food was absolutely delicious. We are always wary about what to expect when ordering what might be called Central American food in Oregon, but this place was very good! We ordered the desayuno típico or "traditional breakfast" and it was great! We loved all the flavors, etc. We also ordered a side of tostones (mashed plaintains) and they were also great! We have already started recommending this place to people we know who seek out Central American flavors. Maybe some day they can incorporate pollo con tajadas o even semita!

I ordered the Almuerzo Tropical and it was delicious. The fried plantains were soft and sweet inside, the scrambled eggs tasted great, the beans tasted amazing and the verde salsa and pico were out of this world. I met the owners and they are fantastic individuals. Very friendly, hardworking, and committed to making a great product. I highly recommend for anyone to try this amazing and fresh cooked food.
