“Cowabunga's main draw is its Hudson River location inside Turning Point Cafe—a genuinely lovely spot for a leisurely coffee break with a view—but the espresso drinks themselves are inconsistent and frequently underwhelming, which is a real problem at a place billing itself as espresso-focused. Service can be spotty too, so you're banking on a good day and a good mood from the staff. Go for the setting and the pastries if you're in Hoboken; don't expect the coffee to be the reason you return.”
