The donuts were absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh, like they had just come out of the oven. There’s a great variety of flavors, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, the location is super convenient. Highly recommend!
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience today. I went around 5:50 pm and noticed there were no donuts in the display. The cashier said they could fry some, but the person in the back clearly wasn’t happy about it. They told me it would take about 12 minutes, so we went ahead and placed our order. When I got home, I realized the donuts were raw inside. If the employees don’t want to keep the display stocked or give proper attention to customers, they should not be working there. They were not sold out — they simply didn’t want to put out donuts an hour before closing. And giving customers raw dough is unacceptable
1st time visiting, went to use restroom before ordering. Bathroom was nasty, bugs flying aroung everywhere. Went to order donuts and had to leave when I saw bugs inside glass donut display cases. Parlor doughnuts made Shipley's look amazing.
I have lived in many places in the country and for that matter I'm the world . I have been coming here since last year for many reasons..starting with the gourmet donuts ,these are awesome with a variety of flavors that are unique and delish. the environment and ambiance is certainly old world meets old style Americana. when you walk in you see a variety of donuts like a old world bakery.
I can't explain how this filled my soul. From the breakfast sandwich to the doughnut, the dough was light but had a flavorful density in texture that warmed my stomach and put a huge smile on my face. Also, I drink a simple vanilla latte, and even that was one of the best I've had in a while. 🤌🏼 I stopped by on a whim because I'd driven by so many times with the intention of stopping. I thought I'd grab a bite and do some work. Wondering how they rival their next door neighbor, Summer Moon, and interested in how their atmosphere, food, coffee, etc stacked up; without a doubt the food is what takes it to the next level. I did appreciate however that there were a couple patrons who got a coffee from next door and then came over for a donut/food; you could tell that the store team was unbothered which had a subtle nicety I would be curious about. (In a "no outside food or drinks" kind of way). Overall this was a flavorful and memorable experience I'll be back for.
