Crema's Take

Tucked into Corpus Christi, this charming hybrid bookshop and coffee bar has earned near-perfect reviews by creating a genuinely cozy retreat where romance novel lovers linger over expertly crafted seasonal drinks like their beloved matcha City Girl. The pastry selection (including thoughtful gluten-free options) and curated collection of bookish trinkets make it feel less like a typical coffee shop and more like a gather space designed by readers, for readers.

i went about a month ago, i had one of their seasonal drinks i believe it was called the city girl. i got it in a matcha version, superrrrr good!! they accidentally messed up my order and i got the coffee instead of the matcha but they were quick to apologize and fixed it quickly!! the staff was so nice. i love the comfy environment this place has. i wish corpus had more places like this! i also had a smores cookie and a salted chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. everything was super delicious!! i look forward to the next time i stop by 💕

My first time coming to this place and it's fantastic. I'm not from here and I just fell in live with it all. The sweet treats and coffee are delicious. Therea wide variety of romance novels. Love it. ❤️

This is a must visit for anyone in the Coastal Bend! Great selection of books (mostly romance but has a good mix of others), delicious drinks & treats (thank you for the gluten free options!) and fun events to build community. I wish I lived closer, but I will definitely visit as much as possible 📖

This adorable local bookshop/coffee shop is fantastic. They primarily carry a variety of romance genres, but they also carry some non-romance books. They have some fun bookish accessories, stickers, t-shirts, etc. Perfect if you're looking for something to get your book loving friend or relative for their birthday or a special occasion. But even if you're not interested in the books, their cookies are to die for. My favorite so far has been the banana bread with chips cookie, so freakin good!! The coffee and matcha have also been delicious. They also have some seating with tables if you want to sit and enjoy your book and a cuppa, whether by yourself or meeting up with someone. And the staff have been kind and helpful each time I've gone.

What a wonderful little shop! Great selections and cute bookish trinkets for all readers. It's a cozy place to go for your next read. I didn't try any this time but the coffee and bakery items smelled delicious!
