Harvest and Grounds

We had a crazy early fight today and had to be at the airport at 4 a.m. Your normal Starbucks and Dutch Bros were no where close to being open so getting coffee wasn't an option. We arrived at the airport, got through TSA and headed to our gate. Located at the bottom of our gate area is Harvest and Grounds. There was a sweet lady working. She was prepping breakfast sandwiches. The store front did look like they were open. I looked through the display case and menu to see what they all had. It wasn't quite opening time yet. But the sweet lady behind the counter went ahead and opened early for me. I thought that was sweet of her knowing that she still had prep work to do. I got myself an iced vanilla oat milk latte, yogurt with fresh strawberries I also got my husband an apple juice and a fresh orange juice for my father in law. My vanilla latte was really good! It was balanced with coffee and vanilla. You can also taste the oat milk. The strawberries were so fresh in my yogurt cup. It also came with a little packet of honey. Everything all together was so good! I appreciate the employee opening early for me. She didn't have to but she did. I enjoyed my drink and breakfast very much. She started my day off on such a great foot!

Stopped here for a latte around 5:30am on a weekday. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. My vanilla latte was made by a machine and wasn't very flavorful. All of the pastries were wrapped in plastic wrap and didn't look very appetizing, but maybe the plastic wrap helped keep them moist idk. Overall the experience was convenient, and the service was good, but don't expect anything special.

Pistachio oatmilk latte - YUM!!! I was pleasantly surprised by this offering at the BOI Airport. I didn't catch the name of the employee (aka barrista), she was amazing. I deeply appreciate her friendliness. A shout out to the happiness you impart to others. Feeling good about this Monday morning travel.

So much better than the bagel joint upstairs! The line didn’t take half my remaining life off me. My drip coffee was hot and super fresh. The gal working was very kind even though she was working alone and was multitasking (quite well I might add).

If you're looking for a coffee and pastry then you'll find it here at Harvest and Grounds. The coffee and pastry tasted fine, but the pastry was given to me cold. Even after warming it was still cold in the middle. The coffee was empty, so I had to wait for the other machine to finish brewing. I wasn't in a hurry, but a line formed behind me very quickly. This is the only food on the 1st floor near the gates, so you'll need to go upstairs to access the majority of restaurants and gift shops.
