Sweet Mong
5980 W Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV
Crema's Take
“Sweet Mong strikes that rare balance between a casual quick-grab spot and a destination worth lingering in, with thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks like their rose milk tea alongside beautifully presented crepes that nail the crispy-yet-delicate texture. The menu celebrates Korean-inspired treats like Seoul Bingsu and Taiyaki alongside matcha and creative seasonal beverages, all served in a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for both a solo coffee run and hours-long conversations with friends. What really sets this spot apart is the evident care in execution—from the visually stunning plating to the perfectly balanced flavors (like the sesame-forward peanut sauce on their bingsu)—making it feel like each order gets genuine attention.”

Nice cafe with a good variety of menu items! I got the rose milk tea hot with boba and the truffle prosciutto crepe. Both the drink and crepe was good. I wish the crepe was crispier but I can see how that might make it hard to hold in all the goodness. The crepe was delicious. Service was nice and quick. Looking forward to trying other items next time!
My family and I ate at a Korean restaurant for dinner on 5 Jan 2026 and opted to not have dessert at that same restaurant. Instead, we were on a hunt to find a dessert shop nearby...so why not have a Korean-inspired dessert shop to complement our dinner and finish the evening with a bang. We've seen Sweet Mong several times in the past while driving on Spring Mountain Road and while visiting businesses within the area but never got to experience it before; however, we finally had our opportunity that evening. When we walked in, there were no customers there which was surprising for a dessert shop, but considering the time we arrived, I guess that is expected. Regardless, I quickly noticed the nice décor in that shop and whereas I'm not too big on social media, I can see this place being extremely popular for those social media-worthy pictures/videos. Between the atmosphere and nice décor, this place provides that relaxing and social vibe for customers to enjoy themselves. The employees working that evening were nice, helpful, and patient (since it was our first time there, we needed some time to look over the menu). We ordered the Seoul Bingsoo, Tiramisu Bingsoo, 2-piece Red Bean Bung(eoppang), and Matcha Berry Taro (Sweet) Crepe. First and foremost, I was grateful that this business offers different size options for the bingsoo because I've been to other places where it's a shareable size and there's been a few times where I wanted to try several different flavors at one time with my family but we can't stomach all of it. The smaller sizes allowed us to try a couple different flavors that evening which made me happy. Next, the flavors and textures of the bingsoo and crepe were outstanding; they all were refreshing. The bungeoppang tasted wonderful; however, I wished the outer layer (fish part) was a bit more crispier - it wasn't soggy by any means but a little too soft for me. Overall, I loved this dessert shop as depicted in my 5-star rating, which for me, is surprising to say because I'm not one of those that must have dessert...and contrary to popular belief, there are a lot of times where there's absolutely no room for dessert. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was superb and I respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! This place is not necessarily a "hidden gem," since they've been open for quite some time now so it appears people are aware of this place. But I know of other dessert shops in this city that get far more customers than this one, which is a shame because everyone should try this place - I was shocked at how wonderful this place was and disappointed that we haven't tried it sooner. I highly recommend this place to everyone and as a local, we will be back in the near future!
Absolutely loved this place! From the moment the food arrived, everything looked beautifully presented and felt thoughtfully made. The crepes were incredible—perfectly thin, slightly crispy on the edges, and filled generously. The flavors were rich but balanced, from the fresh fruits and creamy textures to the chocolate drizzle that tied everything together. Even the drinks were smooth, comforting, and paired perfectly with the desserts. Every bite felt indulgent without being overwhelming. Honestly, this was one of the best dessert experiences I’ve had, and it’s definitely a spot I’d come back to again and again. Highly recommended!
My friend and I talked for hours here! Sweet Mong is cozy inside with an easy to order from menu that hightlights their specialty and seasonal drinks/food. I like the added clouds lighting which gives it a nice studying atmosphere similar to a relaxing cafe. They have delicious bingsoo, crepes, and tea that tastes so refreshing on a day off. I've been wanting to visit for a while and glad I chose this place because I love supporting small businesses & talking too much while I'm eating. 😆 It's a perfect spot for casual hangouts, yapping sessions with friends, studying, and anyone who wants to try Korean desserts.
We ordered Seoul Bingsu, the big bowl size which has red bean on the top with peanut sauce. It taste really good, not too sweet, we can taste sesame so clearly in the sauce. Also, we ordered Taiyaki, the fish bread. We had it with Taro filling. We love it so much, soft and warm, not too sweet. The place was quite clean and peaceful when we went there after dinner on weekday.
