Crema's Take

Yonderlust is a hidden gem tucked inside a Durham storefront that punches well above its size, earning serious praise for both meticulously crafted espresso drinks and surprisingly excellent food, from their signature maple miso house syrup to crispy breakfast burritos. The cozy, intimate space has become a beloved spot for regulars and newcomers alike, with genuinely warm staff who make the experience feel personal rather than transactional. Whether you're stopping by for a quick specialty latte or settling in for the day to work, this is the kind of place that makes you wonder how you missed it for so long.

Love their maple miso house syrup. I usually get that at half-sweet in a cappuccino and honestly, it’s my favorite coffee beverage in Durham. The staff are kind and friendly, and it’s a great spot for working from, too.

This being a 4.7 is crazy. I came and got a vanilla latte and a breakfast burrito and it was unreal. Crisp on the outside and I could taste every flavor on the inside. The coffee was incredible and the vibes are immaculate. This should be a 5/5

I own a restaurant right across the street (nyc halal eats) and never knew this place existed. I have tried all the coffee shops in the downtown Durham area and this is by far the best coffee I’ve had. I love how they use organic everything for their drinks and food. And yes definitely has a cozy feel and very comfortable chairs. I’ll be back again!

Great coffee and excellent food! It's a small place inside a store, but very warm and cozy. We went because of the really good reviews and were not disappointed, actually quite the opposite!

I came to work from there for the day. I ordered their latte, fruit granola yogurt and their chicken Mediterranean panini. First I really enjoyed their granola yogurt, I think that was my favorite thing I had! Their latter was very good too, I wasn’t too fan of their panini but their ingredients was very fresh, locally sourced, and has in house made syrups which I loved! Also it was a great atmosphere to work all day!
