I’d never had a gyro before coming here, I was hesitant to try Alpha Omega because I don’t like Olives or Feta or lamb really and I know those are common in this style food😳🤣but I recently discovered a love for Mediterranean/ Greek food. I’ve tried several of their gyros (including the lamb) and I’ve not gotten one I didn’t love, I do opt for extra veggies a extra tzatziki as the only improvement I could muster is more veggies 😋 The meat portions are plentiful and flavorful and I discovered I don’t hate feta. The food is delicious, the pricing is super affordable and everything is FRESH. This is a must try and I’m addicted.
The food is delicious, and the prices are affordable. The restaurant is spacious, so it doesn’t feel cramped. It really feels like a place that exceeds its price value. The portions are generous, so I’m full and in a great mood right now.
Really amazing! We revisited our old favorites from the original alpha omega in Waco (the Feta fries, olive tampenade dip, and the beef gyro) and I enjoyed the simple Greek salad with fried chickpea bites. The baklava (we got original) was to DIE for and I’m still dreaming about it. Facilities and bathrooms were super clean and we loved eating outside on the patio at sunset! Wonderful, friendly service as well- our cashier helped us with suggesting the kids’ pizza pita for our kiddos.
Oh my, incredibly delicious food. This place is beautiful and inviting. It wasn’t crowded when we went in, thankfully but we would have been waited to eat. The staff greets with a smile and takes your order. I couldn’t finish my plate much to my disappointment lol. Drinks are free refills, very clean restaurant and we look forward to going back. I think I like the quaint small feel of the restaurant downtown, but not taking a great reviews from this restaurant. We love it!!
We ordered to go from Alpha Omega in Hewitt today, and were very pleased with our experience. We got the trio dip platter with the tzatziki, hummus and olive spread and pita. The dips were delicious, so fresh and the perfect serving size. The pita was so soft and fluffy and warm, and they gave us plenty for leftovers. We also got a beef gyro and feta fries. The beef gyro was so tasty, and very generous in portion. And the French fries were clearly freshly made in house, not from frozen. They were fantastic. The chickpea balls were flavorful and perfectly seasoned. We were especially impressed with the desserts, the warm feta philo dough thing was spectacular, and the tiramisu was delicious! I’m extremely pleased and will be returning soon!
