Crema's Take

Pistachio's Coffee Shop is a charming neighborhood spot in Houston that's made waves with their signature house-made pistachio latte—creamy, balanced, and genuinely exceptional enough to draw customers back repeatedly. The intimate space, located near Memorial High School, combines thoughtful interior design with genuinely warm baristas and an owner who make you feel welcomed, whether you're staying for a leisurely sit or just grabbing a drink on your way through. Beyond their pistachio specialties, they're equally skilled with matcha and espresso-focused drinks, making it a solid choice for both specialty sippers and focused laptop workers seeking quality coffee and good vibes.

I only got a drink since I was in the area I live an hour away. I got their house made pistachio latte omg it was the best pistachio latte I've ever had! Only thing is it's a very small shop and hard to stand out of the way while waiting for your order.

The aesthetic is so cute! Right in front of Memorial High school, this coffee shop is beautiful! The baristas and owner are super nice and I’ve had a flat white, americano and iced Pistachio latte (I had it half sweet and it was soooo good). One day I want to try their Dubai cookie and pistachio cheesecake. Today I worked in the afternoon at was a great vibe to send emails. The morning was less crowded than lunchtime (prime). Plenty of free parking, croissants from Love Croissants 🥐 and you have to try something pistachio here!

Just visited and had such a great experience If you’re looking for pistachio coffee in Houston, this spot is definitely worth checking out. The pistachio coffee was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced not overly sweet, with a really nice nutty flavor. I also tried my go-to order, the pistachio tres leches, which was moist, rich, and full of pistachio flavor, plus a matcha that was well-prepared and comforting. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. The space is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed coffee break or dessert stop in Houston. Highly recommend if you love pistachio desserts, specialty coffee, and finding unique coffee spots. I’ll definitely be coming back

I’ve visited this spot a few times within a week and I can confidently say that Pistachio is one of my favorite places to get coffee! The interior is well decorated with a nice ambiance. As for parking, there’s a whole lot in front of the stores- it can get pretty busy but there’s always more parking around the corner. Speaking of busy, I can only imagine how packed this place gets during the morning. My friend and I visited once on a Wednesday afternoon and a Sunday afternoon- both days/times were moderately busy. That being said, the wait time was around 7-10 minutes. Based on the reviews I read on here, I can totally see how some folks had to wait 30+ minutes for their beverage during peak hours. If you are planning on studying here, I would be prepared to accept the fact that there might not be a table available because the space itself isn’t that big and it’s usually pretty busy. My friend and I ordered their most popular drink, the pistachio latte (I personally recommend getting half the sweetness). And for people like me who usually ask for light ice in hopes of getting more coffee, this place already pre measures everything so getting light ice won’t really do anything - just a heads up! The coffee is delicious. I enjoyed the nutty flavor from the pistachios and the rich roasted flavor from the coffee beans. It’s been a while since I had a drink that I enjoyed so much that left me craving for more but Pistachio did it for me! As for the pastries and sweets, everything is made in house! My friend and I got the pistachio tres leches cake which was wonderful and got to sample a little bit of the pistachio lazy cake which was also just as good. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this coffee shop and I can’t wait to try more items on the menu 🙂

Really good place for matcha and coffee. Good space to sit down and work. The place just opened up September 27, 2025 and came on Monday and it was busy, drink took around 10 minutes at least. Overall friendly service and great drinks, I’d come back!
