Red Rock Coffeehouse

3325 28th St, Boulder, CO

Crema's Take

Red Rock Coffeehouse is a refreshing throwback in Boulder's specialty coffee scene, proudly serving properly hot lattes and darker, traditional espresso while other shops chase trendy lukewarm trends. The genuinely friendly staff and cozy, unpretentious atmosphere make it feel like the kind of neighborhood spot that prioritizes real coffee craft and conversation over Instagram aesthetics. With gluten-free pastries, solid cold brew options like their Polar Bear oat milk drink, and a great historical location, it's the rare Boulder coffeehouse that gets you feeling like you've stepped back into how coffee shops used to be.

One of the only coffee shops that still makes hot lattes. Good tasting darker espresso too!! Old school, how coffee should be!! Everywhere else in town is going for lukewarm warm espresso drinks. Third wave, lame!!!

Exceptionally friendly staff. Plenty of coffee options and often has delicious gluten-free breads available. I recommend the Polar Bear oat milk iced coffee drink for a treat! Cozy, casual atmosphere with plenty of couches and lounge chairs.

Coffee was fine and so was bagel but how did I manage to find the one coffee shop in Boulder to try and work at without access to any outlets. Everyone in there was on their laptop yet they don’t find it necessary to figure out a way for them to plug them in.

Great historical centre location. Also another reason for heavy footfalls. It is so much happiness yo to have coffee here... Great customer service and good value for money. Situated near restrooms..souvenir shop and the museum. A must visit

5 stars for the sole reason of not having a virtue signaling flag, so refreshing, just a normal coffee shop with a great relaxing atmosphere. Thanks!
