The Little Bird Bakeshop

Crema's Take
“This beloved Fort Collins institution feels like the heart of the community, with charming multi-level spaces that invite lingering over freshly baked goods made with quality ingredients like unbleached flour that won't leave you feeling heavy. The real magic happens in the carefully curated pastry selection—think almond croissants, peanut butter treats, and coconut macaroons—paired with traditional coffee drinks in an atmosphere that's equally suited for catching up with old friends or settling in for a slow morning solo. Despite the line often snaking out the door, the efficient service and abundance of indoor and outdoor seating mean you'll find your spot to nest and savor every bite.”

Little Bird Bakeshop is my favorite coffee shop/bakery!! For any and all meet ups, brunch, catching up with an old friend, or for enjoying a slow life, I go here! They have freshly baked goods every morning and their coffee menu is endlessly fun and exciting! The staff always welcome you with a smile and their joyous attitude brightens your day! The atmosphere is just wonderful, it's cozy, and slows down your racing mind! With so many different seating rooms and the aesthetic you are sure to find the perfect place to bundle up and enjoy a coffee. Or sit outside enjoying a fresh baked croissant in the fresh summer air! 🥐
I love Little Bird. The food is great and there is quite a bit of choice. Plus their current location is charming, with the different levels (as well as space outside when the weather is nice). You can find a corner to sit and enjoy your pastry in a nice atmosphere. There are times when they get really busy and so finding a place to sit can be a challenge, but that doesn't take away from the great food.
Charming (times 50!!) little coffee shop, sat outside and enjoyed immensely. The almond croissant, peanut butter, magpie and coconut macaroons were all sacrificed in the making of this review. Tragedy for the goodies and the waistline but a huge hit for the flavor buds! Golden milk latte and an iced soy latte capped the moment of glory. Man vs Baked Goods!
Excellent pastries. Quality ingredients. They use unbleached flour. So, you dont get that bloated feeling after eating their pastries. Delicious breads, pastries, and beverages. Wonderful atmosphere to sit, relax, and enjoy their gastronomic delights. Only downside is it can get very busy and lone customers will take up a 3-4 person table to spend hours alone on a laptop. Was there with 2 others and noticed lone customers using tables designed for 3-4 people. Fortunately it wasnt too busy and we found 1 table.
This is one busy bakeshop! And although the line looks long, the service is really quick and efficient. There’s lots of tables inside on two floors, plus tables and chairs out front and a patio up top. You can even read about the history of the school old house on the plaque at the main entrance. The brioche cinnamon roll with orange cream frosting is delicious. Be sure to try the monkey bread, too! They make a mean peanut butter sandwich cookie. Looking forward to a return visit!
