COMPA COFFEE ROASTERS
11828 Rancho Bernardo Rd #101, Del Mar, CA
Crema's Take
“Compa Coffee Roasters is a Del Mar gem that nails the fundamentals with beautifully balanced espresso drinks—their cortado and honey cinnamon latte are standouts—while also excelling at the little things that make a café feel like a destination, from their stellar 9-5 breakfast sandwich to expertly executed matcha drinks. The spacious outdoor seating and genuinely friendly service create the perfect vibe whether you're grabbing coffee in a rush or settling in for a leisurely morning, and the pastries and light food options (that banana chia seed pudding gets real love) round out an experience that keeps locals coming back.”

Top notch coffee and service. Perfectly balanced cortado. The banana chia seed pudding is crazy good. The avocado toast is also very good. Very nice atmosphere with outdoor seating available.
Omg their 9-5 breakfast its amazing. Coffee its soo good also not over sweet and not disappointing. Long line but moves fast and the cashier was super friendly. Also lots of options for kids to entertain them and books to read. We will definitely be coming back all the way from mission valley san diego.
Tasty coffee and biscuits! A wonderful local coffee shop in Rancho Bernardo. I got the 9-5 breakfast sandwich. It is a biscuit with egg, cheese and crispy prosciutto. Delicious! One of my favorite things to get here. They have a great menu with lots of coffee options. Today we got the B-side and some drip coffee. Both were great! Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff is also very friendly.
Loved our first time at Compa! The honey cinnamon latte was the best one I have had in San Diego county so far. A perfect blend of delicious coffee with a not-too-sweet twist. The dark moca was incredible, best moca flavour out there by far. There are many tables and the interior is cute and homey. Service was friendly and prompt with our drinks coming out within five minutes of ordering. Excited to come back and try out the food offerings!
Compa is one of my favorite cafes in San Diego. I’m always hesitant to try matcha at new cafes, but they do it really well. I’m a big fan of matcha tonics/sparkling water and often times cafes don’t offer it. But Compa staff are always happy to make it, and they make it really yummy! The staff are so sweet. I’ve run into pretty much all the staff and they’re so sweet. The owner is also very sweet and seems very passionate about the cafe and customers. I hope they expand, but will always love this location :) Parkings easy enough, maybe a bit busy during lunch but nothing crazy. WiFi is great, seating can be tough to get but they open up quickly.
