Black Dog Coffeehouse

Black dog is a not-so-hidden gem. I wish I lived here in Kansas City so I could spend more time here. Its a beautiful place, with kind people and a great atmosphere. The pastry I got was delicious, a raspberry and lime dessert pastry. I also ordered a regular iced latte, which was also delicious. The espresso was delicious! Very warm feeling, not too sharp or bitter. Over all very nice place and I would absolutely reccomend giving it a try.

Came at 1230 on a Saturday, it was packed! Soon found out why, an amazing offering of pastries and treats. Got a green tea, and a mud slide(iced). Both were perfect!

Coming in from Florida for MNF and as a Taylor fan, this place was a must on the itinerary! It may be small but the atmosphere is warm and coffee hot. I had the biscuits and gravy and my friend had a sandwich. Both were delicious and I know biscuits and gravy! Would definitely come back!

A fantastic coffee shop was a great atmosphere, ample seating, patio setup, relaxed environment, and a bakery "attached". One of the only places thats served sparking water with my Cortado (btw sparking water is served to cleanse the palate). We tried the Lavender Black pepper latte from their Spring menu and it was very well made. Perfect amount of lavender and the black pepper was a fantastic addition. Would high recommend hitting this place up for coffee, a bakery item and just taking it easy on the patio.

We have wanted to try Ibis Bakery for some time. Once I found out that Black Dog was connected, we went! The coffee was great. I had a honey and lavender latte. We also had an almond Croissant and a Pan au chocolate Croissant. The almond Croissant was the best one I've ever had! We also grabbed a Cheese Slipper loaf for later. Went to the Grand Street Ibis location. Delicious as always!
