Summer Moon Coffee

Cute store n layout - plenty of spots to sit and study depending on which table you get. Further in the back seems like a good spot to do work while the front is more for socializing. Taste wise, don’t get the matcha latte bc imo, tasted artificial/floraly. Granted, I got it w oat milk, but still, didn’t taste the matcha. Def felt like I wasted $9 on it, especially for its size too. Maybe I’ll come back but probs not anytime soon

Macarons and iced matcha are really yum. I added strawberry syrup. I want to come back and try the kolaches and other drink options. 10/10.

Can't go wrong with this place at all. I forget the baristas name but she was fantastic. We got the Blueberry Crisp latte from their Spring menu and I went with the Cortado. They have their own version of the sweetened milk and the Cortado was absolutely smashing! The latte was great as well. There is plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and the patio has some spots to chill as well. Patio is tiny but hey, better than not having patio seating 🤷🏼‍♂️ Would definitely recommend this place! Update: Moon Milk is still my favorite. As I ordered my Cortado, the barista goes "Moon-tado"...hah! Moon-tado, indeed! Love this place

With my last day here in Kansas (Olathe/Lenexa area), I wanted to hit all highly rated coffee shops in Olathe, Overland Park and Shawnee areas. Total of 8 today, already visited 7 others in the earlier part of the week. Unique about this coffee shop is that it’s the most crowded I’ve seen. It has bright and airy feel and large open area for dine in and for folks to be situated to mingle or work. It also offers frozen strawberry and raspberry lemonade drinks. Aside from typical pastries, they offer Rice Krispies, donuts and kolaches! The staff were very friendly and personable, very informative about what is popular on their menu. Because I literally have 4 coffee concoctions to finish, I wanted to get a food item that’s not offered in other coffee shops; so I ordered a cheddar and sausage kolache. The kolache is a 3, nothing special but a hotdog and cheddar cheese. But ambiance and service are a 5. Food was a 3 so I’ll say a 4 for this coffee shop. Maybe I’ll be back next time to try their coffee beverages.

I stopped by last Wednesday for my first time and it was awesome! First, the atmosphere feels like a modern-minimalist aesthetic; it's welcoming and comfortable. They had a nice selection of seating options, from couches to tables and raised bar seating. And the music wasn't overbearing. So, it's a comfortable environment to either sit and talk or read and study. Next, the customer service was very helpful. As my first time, the barista gave me helpful recommendations and landed me on the right drink! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a nice place to sit and have coffee!
