Crema's Take

Nestled in Leland, High Peaks Brew is a wonderfully laid-back spot that brilliantly balances serious craft beer—think excellent sours and complex ales—with a genuinely welcoming vibe for families and their four-legged friends. The sprawling indoor and outdoor space, complete with arcade games and room to breathe, makes it the kind of place where parents can linger over a cold one while kids stay entertained, and you can easily bring your pizza in from next door without anyone batting an eye.

Came in town for a soccer tournament and needed a fun place for kids and parents. This was perfect, we ordered Pizza ( delicious and huuuge) from next doors and the kids loved the arcade option. Service was friendly and very accommodating! Highly recommend

Personally, I don’t like culturally controversial signs and statements when I go out to enjoy a beer. I don’t care which side you agree with, I just don’t want it with my beer. The beer was as good as any other local brewery but I’ll go to the others that aren’t trying to convince me of their political views while I drink my beer. Think about it from the opposing point of view, would you like that? You’re alienating 50% of your customer base maybe more.

Dynamite beer, fun atmosphere, good for all ages, and lots of space both inside and out. There's arcade games to keep the kiddos distracted--hat tip to the ownership. There's a pizza place next store that seems to have a symbiotic relationship with the brewery. Also, a microbrewery that actually has good beer! Loved the Oktoberfest brew. Be sure to lock your doors if street parking.

Excellent Sours, no lactose which I cannot do! I like them sour and funky but not hoppy or sweet. I first enjoyed in Asheville. Enjoying Sour Blonde Ale. Partner loving the anniversary IPA - Bobbo’s Ringmaster 12 year Anniversary. Great pizza place on the same property that make fire roasted 16” pizza’s or personal 10” size.
