Cafe Fiore
420 E Main St, Branford, CT
Crema's Take
“Cafe Fiore strikes that rare balance between a welcoming neighborhood spot and genuinely elevated cooking, with a cozy dining room that feels equally suited for a casual coffee meeting or a special dinner. The Italian kitchen delivers standout dishes like their shrimp scampi and beet salad, though some of the smaller plates can be hit-or-miss and pricing skews generous. Go for the atmosphere and the reliable mains, but come with realistic expectations about what you're paying for.”

We paid a visit to Cafe Fiore as this is a popular spot for one of our daughter and friends and it did not take long to realize that the food was going to be delicious. I ordered the linguini bolognese with meatballs and it was perfectly cooked! The garlic knots were amazing…
The beet salad was really nice, big, two of us shared and there was plenty. The arancini were blah... cooked perfectly just not very flavorful. The shrimp scampi was lovely. Lots of shrimp, great buttery, savory sauce, nice pasta. It was a really nice meal.
