Crema's Take

RJ Cafe & Bistro shares space with a bookstore, creating the rare setup where you can browse shelves while waiting for a table—a setup that works beautifully for leisurely weekend visits with groups. The food hits the mark with generous portions of well-executed salads and traditional bistro fare, though service can be inconsistent depending on when you arrive. Come on a slower weekday afternoon if you want a relaxed, unhurried experience; weekend brunches draw crowds and require patience.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

Came in with a friend, two tables had customers, no one but the two of us were in line, five employees were behind the counter and no one helped us. We stood there waiting and eventually said, “let’s go” and got great service and drinks at Willoughby’s.

RJ Cafe & Bristo, a cozy bisto located in a fabulous bookstore. You can find a good book and a great meal. We had curried chicken salad with mango sauce and apples. On our way back we had a margarita flat and chicken and onion flat.
