Sam's General Store

The newly remodeled cafe is a great place for folks to meet, hang out, and enjoy a cup and a snack any time of day. The coffee is better than it used to be, but far from the best cup in the valley for my annoying-light-roast-coffee-person palate. If you live in town, it’s a lovely morning walk along the verdant residential roads to this shop. If you’re visiting, it’s a relaxing waypoint before you turn around, and saunter down the side of Main Street opposite the one you came to explore the other half of what 29 has to offer.

Natasha at Sam General Store is truly wonderful! Every time I stop by, she greets me with such warmth and kindness. She always goes above and beyond in making sure my coffee and food orders are perfectly made or carefully packed to-go, and I really appreciate her attention to detail. The food and drinks here are fantastic! Love their pastries and empanadas. For drinks, the chai latte and strawberry matcha with cold foam are my all-time favorites. The shop itself has great vibes, plenty of seating, and strong WiFi, making it a perfect spot to study, get work done, or meet up with a friend for coffee. Between the quality menu, comfortable atmosphere, and Natasha and the team’s outstanding service, Sam General Store has quickly become one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t yet!

Usually super great! Food has always been good, their chais are the best I’ve ever had, staff is usually super sweet and goes out of your way for you. The past couple of times though, I have found a rubber band in my sandwich. Along with, one of the workers seeming to be very irritated because they kept messing up and seemed to take it out on me. Not very professional! Hopefully Sam’s picks up the pace again because they are one of the best!

The coffee and pastries are already fantastic! Just imagine if they introduced even more unique blends or seasonal treats to make the experience even better! They listen to their customers by taking out the number 13 as their order number for table servings. Great job, keep it up. I have seen many coffee shops, and you are at my top! ☕🙏
