MoJoe's Cafe
201 E Kiowa St, Colorado Springs, CO
Crema's Take
“This father-and-son run café brings genuine warmth to Colorado Springs with their ceremonial-grade matcha and carefully crafted espresso drinks that keep customers coming back to explore the full menu. The team, especially son Brian, takes real time with each order—chatting you through cook times and clearly caring about getting it right—which combined with the bright, upbeat atmosphere makes it feel less like a quick caffeine grab and more like visiting friends who happen to make excellent coffee.”

This breakfest spot is ran by a father and son. The son is the one who helped us today. He is awesome. Very chatty, and clear about how long foods take to cook. The coffee is delicious. Only down side, is the burritos seem to take a super long time to cook. It appears the hashbrowns take the longest, might i suggest prepping hashbrowns to make the time faster? Other than that, i had a great time, and would come back for coffee again.
New spot in town, totally worth the visit! Loved our dirty matcha (ceremonial grade) and cafe mocha. Shoutout to Brian for the kind and courteous service!
Should I have written this review months ago and given MoJoe’s a glowing rating after my very first visit? Absolutely. But did my procrastination give me time to explore nearly their entire menu so I could offer a more informed opinion? Also yes. MoJoe’s is everything you could want in a family-run café. The food is consistently delicious, and after months of visits, I haven’t found a single item that disappoints. Their specialty drinks are creative, and always hit the spot. With their Drinks and Sandwiches of the month, there is always something fresh to try. The owner, Joe, along with his family, consistently creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a quick bite, a coffee date, or a quiet afternoon working on a project or reading a book. Even though MoJoe’s is still relatively new, it already feels like a cornerstone of downtown Colorado Springs. Here’s hoping it becomes the local staple it deserves to be.
Been on my “want to go” for a while, glad I finally did. Very cute and I was able to walk from my office. Incredibly nice staff and very good burrito. Has just the right upbeat and bright vibe I didn’t know I needed, and the art is so cute. The art on the windows was just the cherry on top!
I’ll definitely be back 😃 this spot checks all the boxes and left me with such a great impression! I stopped by this morning and was genuinely impressed. First off, parking was a breeze—plenty of great street parking, and the location is super walkable too. The space itself is large, inviting, and filled with beautiful natural light, making it perfect for catching up on work or just relaxing with a cup of coffee ☕️ The staff was warm and friendly, which added to the welcoming vibe. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it was absolutely delicious—creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced. They offer a great variety of flavor options and even have little bites to eat if you're feeling snacky. What a gem of a coffee shop!
