Crema's Take
“This beloved Destin diner feels like a time capsule of classic American breakfast culture with an unexpected Hawaiian twist, where regulars swear by house specialties like the Country Fried Steak and Loco Moco. The family-owned spot thrives on genuine hospitality—you'll be greeted warmly and checked on throughout your visit—making it the kind of place where locals have been coming back for years to linger over coffee and conversation. It's unpretentious and wonderfully quirky, exactly the sort of neighborhood gem where you'll want to become a regular yourself.”

Been coming here for years, I love their Country Fried Steak Breakfast. I also order the Half Trash Plate. It's just your standard old time diner with a slight Hawaiian twist. The Loco Moco is great. I really is a area classic.
Staff was rude to me when I attempted to order a double hash brown with all veggies. They acted like they’d never heard of anyone ordering hash browns in their life. Their menu choices are strange, charging you certain up charges for certain things. I didn’t want ham, I wanted all veggies. But because of the way they do up charges they attempted to get me hash browns with veggies for $15. She kept trying to get me to get the trashed plate, but I told her all I wanted was hashbrowns and veggies. I called out the high price, it’s just hash browns and veggies, I can get it across the street half the price. They said “we’re a different business sir”. Yes you are. I left and went to Waffle House. I got the same thing for $8. They were also nicer.
Always a great experience at The Coffee Shoppe 🤗 It’s very family oriented, everyone you meet is super nice and friendly. You’re greeted as soon as you walk in, and checked on multiple times throughout your meal. Whether you’re coming just for a cup of their delicious hot coffee, or a full breakfast, everything will be made with love :)
Small family owned diner, that serves breakfast and lunch. The food and service are good. Highly recommend this place. Support local businesses 🫶
If Seinfeld moved to Boca Del Niceville in the panhandle of Florida, this would be his coffee shoppe cafe. The food was really good, but basic. The fries needed a bit more crisp for me. Breakfast is available up to close, which is 2pm. Service was great and the atmosphere was quintessential coffee shop cafe. However, for the love of God, don’t ask if it used to be a Waffle House. They will get all worked up!
