Crema's Take
“This Madison tea bar is a revelation for anyone seeking genuinely creative drinks made with real ingredients—think pumpkin chai shakes and Thai tea that actually tastes like tea, not sugar. The staff moves with impressive speed even during rushes and generously guides indecisive customers through an impressive menu that celebrates both traditional tea culture and inventive seasonal creations. What really sets Sencha apart is their thoughtful approach to inclusivity, offering a full range of milk alternatives alongside their carefully curated tea selection, making it a place where everyone leaves happy.”

Incredible!!!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I could rave about this forever so I am making a list. 1. Amazing selection for dietary restrictions! There are milk drinks but there is soy, coconut, and oat milk options. Plus the cream put into drinks is lactose free. My 11 year old son has extremely restrictive diet yet had so many options for drinks. She also helped him create a drink with the flavors he liked. Outstanding! He loved the boba! 2. Great location and atmosphere. Clean and fun. 3. Outstanding owner and staff! Helpful, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, knew all the ingredients 4. Parking garage near it with a short term parking option! 5. Creative drinks like edible glitter and coloring changing! My 11 year old niece adored her drink and loved the taste. 6. Fun things like mystery drinks and board games. Lots of seating inside and out. I had Thai Tea with oat milk and without boba. Delicious!!!!! I will review on Happy Cow also.
Super fast! I've waited in a line of ten people and gotten my drink in less then 5 minutes. I appreciate there tea selection but it's in a little book to the side not on the main menu. I can't find a Milk Oolong I like anywhere else
Very friendly staff! We tried Real Pumpkin Chai Shake and Pumpkin Patch, and liked more Pumpkin Patch. Real Pumpkin Shake could have been better, chai spices were too light and because of that flavor was lacking. Personally I wouldn't buy it again. Pricing is reasonable. A small, cute tea bar. We visited on busy Saturday afternoon; most tables were full and there was line, it's clearly a very popular place! Also they sell some tea and coffee accessories (few photos attached).
Prepare to be overwhelmed by the endless delicious options on the menu! After contemplating for much too long and after much needed guidance and recommendations from the staff, we landed on the frozen spiced chai and the cookie butter coffee boba. It was a classic case of “my husband’s drink is better so it’s mine now” because the cookie butter coffee was AMAZING- and thats coming from a person who isn’t crazy about cookie butter. The frozen spiced chai was artificial tasting and much too sweet- a personal pass we couldn’t finish. Overall, they have amazing options and great staff!
If you are looking for bubble tea with strong tea flavor, Sencha is definitely what you are looking for! All their drinks are yummy and tasty! I recently tried London Fog, Matcha milk tea and Thai Tea, they are all with strong tea flavor and the tea itself looks beautiful too! I usually order a drink and then read my novel in the store. Their music is good too! Anyway I love this place and will recommend to my friends coming here! Thanks you Sencha!
