Crema's Take

Nestled in Taos, this charming café wins hearts with its warm atmosphere and delightful owners who've created a genuine gathering spot—think fresh pastries (especially those cinnamon rolls), solid lattes, and creative drinks like their Dolce de Leche Frappes. While the espresso can be inconsistent and the food selection modest, the cozy vibe and friendly service make it worth a visit, whether you're catching up with a friend or settling in to work for a few hours.

Came up under specialty coffee. Was average to me, espresso was a little burnt and the drink was just okay. On Sunday it was all that was open. Environment is nice would be a great spot to work.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon during our short visit to Taos. Ordered a decaf Dolce de Leche Frappe - very yummy and decent prices (coming from California). Staff was friendly, and atmosphere was very cute and decorated.

Catching up on reviews/pics for our NM trip last month…. Cafe Sagrado is a cute little coffee shop in Taos, NM! Not much in the way of food, but the lattes were very good. Nice vibe in the shop. Recommend you give it a go…

Had never been so I stopped to grab a smoothie. Not super great for the price. It was winter & they seemed to have insufficient heat. Small seating area w/ 6 tables, 2 seats a piece and a bench. There's a space up front that would be perfect for a couch or large table but it's empty. Some touristy gift shop items for sale. I had to use the bathroom & was informed that they didn't have one?! How can you sell coffee & not have a bathroom?! I was informed the only available bathroom was 4 buildings away & across a parking lot. I had some mobility issues today so it wasn't fun limping in the cold to a grotty public restroom that looked & smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Shortest toilet I've ever sat on & homeless people hanging out getting warm. Good for them. Nothing against that but unreal for a pricey, Cold cafe with not that great of atmosphere. Wouldn't be a great place to work or relax. Good art and nice plants are the only positive things I have to say honestly. Won't likey return since there's plenty of cool spots around

Super great location in Taos with coffee, smoothies, fresh waffles, yummy pastries, and gifts! I love the cinnamon roll, and my friend raves about the savory pastries! The owners are delightful!
