Ladyfingers Bakery + Bar

This was my 1st visit. I had the coffee & a Cowboy cookie. I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee. It was full bodied & only needed cream to make it perfect for me. The description I was given for the Cowboy cookie sounded interesting. It was super yummy!

Ladyfingers is a great bakery and bar. They have some amazing baked goods as well as a Greta breakfast/brunch menu. With a full bar, you can have a really quality brunch/breakfast experience right in Bloomfield, NJ!

I came here on a weekday but didn’t realize they only serve brunch on weekends. I did get some savory and sweet pastries which were really delicious! The cream cheese everything donut was unique, the scone had delicious icing, and fruit danish was cheesy/creamy and tart (loved it!), the biscuit with scallion cream cheese was ok - a little dry. I asked the server if the pastries used dyes but they didn’t know. The space was absolutely beautiful - very instagrammable and aesthetic. Though the tables were kind of sticky and not cleaned well and some random cleaning supplies were in sight messing with the vibes. The cappuccino really disappointed me - shot wasn’t pulled correctly and milk wasn’t foamed properly. I had 2 sips and drove 10 min to Paper Plane Coffee afterward. I’d still consider coming back to try the brunch - tho I’d drink my morning coffee beforehand!

4 starts for food just for the cast iron pancake alone was delicious! Drinks were good, eggs were very tasty but hash brown was not a hit for me at all. It was too thick and not fluffy and had no flavor if that makes sense. It’s a small bakery with like 2 tables but they do offer seating in the back I think they use the Italian restaurant next door as a joint space which is smart. So if you’re worried about the space I don’t think it’s an issue. Worth trying for sure they have quite a few options to choose from so I will be going again to give it a second try!

So fun to walk in and see these amazing baked goods, and they taste as good as they look!! 5 stars yum!!! The everything biscuit was outstanding ❤️ Lots of choices to pick from, and a nice brunch menu with delicious and healthy choices. It’s a beautiful space, with baked goods, coffee, etc as you walk in. Tables outside and inside. A little bar. So nice! The young woman who served us was very nice, friendly and super helpful. It’s accessible ♿️. Street parking.
