Great American Video & Espresso

Saw their sign advertising 50 milkshake flavors so brought my family back for a treat. No regrets. Awesome service! Great shakes and if you're a cinephile you can find some treasures in the rental section

Such a Nostalgic Cozy Blockbuster type setup!! Definitely one of my favorite places to go in Multnomah county! Sells icecream, shakes, coffee, and dvd rentals of course!! Folks at the counter are super kind and polite. They provide good advice for shake flavors if you’re unsure of what you want but have an idea of what flavor profile you’re trying for. Like I had wanted a pumpkin spice type shake and the employee gave me their advice of what flavors to combine and it was delicious. I just wish I lived closer.

Absolutely love this place! I’ve been a frequent customer for years, it’s a wonderful little surprise tucked away on the edge of SE Portland and Milwaukie. If you want to journey back to the 80’s for a little dose of nostalgia it’s the place!! Delicious frozen custard, italian ice, shakes and lots of other treats. My go to is the ice dream and the kids are always excited to see what ice cream sandwich creation they have for the month. Great selection of flavors and Mix in’s so get creative. Espresso drinks are available too if you would rather have a hot sip. The video store is well stocked so if you want to dust off your VCR, this is the place to rent a video. Service is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you give it a try.

I love a good old fashioned place that reminds me of a better time! I've known this place was here for years, but never stopped in. I don't know why, honestly. My sister told me this place has an espresso milkshake that is fantastic, so we went!! Not only is the espresso milkshake super delicious, but the ambiance is great, and the girl who helped us was so friendly!! Definitely check it out!

This was a spur of the moment stop and I'm so glad we did! I came for coffee while on a visit from out of town, but if I lived in the area, I would so be back! This is a brilliant idea. Movie rentals with a snack area inside? Why don't more places do this? This is great for family nights, couples, friend-get-togethers, or just a night alone! And their coffee was a pleasant surprise! I took a drink and my frappé punched me in the mouth with deliciousness. Along with their coffee they offer smoothies, milkshakes, and I'm sure other things. This is well worth swinging by. If you don't want to go inside, try their drive-thru like I did!
