Crema's Take
“Oliver's Market in Windsor is a beloved community gathering spot that goes far beyond your typical grocery store, with a standout food program featuring quality BBQ, fresh salads, and a robust hot bar that locals rely on for both quick coffee runs and full meals. The staff genuinely cares—from wine recommendations to personalized conversations—creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere where you can grab specialty drinks alongside fresh provisions, whether you're a longtime resident or just back in town. It's the kind of place where the pit master knows their craft and the whole experience engages all your senses in the best way.”

Sammy, who was stocking the wine, gave me some excellent recommendations and took the time to tell me more about the store since I recently moved back to Windsor after growing up here. Oliver’s had everything I was looking for, and the service was fantastic. I find myself coming back on my days off because the vibe is great and I always leave with some great finds. I also really enjoy the tavern. Overall, a wonderful experience every time.
My favorite grocery store ever. Amazing fresh foods & salads/hot bar. Also a great selection of heat up meals. When at cabin we hit up Oliver's for at least a couple meals so I can leave the cooking to Oliver. 😄
I hate that I have to leave a lower review but this is just about something specific. Normally I adore shopping in Oliver's in Windsor. But I've run into a problem in the bakery in one aspect. The pies. In the past month December 2025 I've bought two pies and Apple streusel pie and a pecan pie. Both were genuinely terrible. The apple pie oddly had so much a lemon or lemon curd in it that is all you could taste and it was inedible. The pecan pie tasted like it was kind of burnt and there was way too much vanilla extract in it to the point where it had an almost alcohol aftertaste. Couldn't eat more than three bites and pecan pie is my genuinely favorite pie in the whole world. So I don't know who is handling the pies in the bakery at the Windsor Oliver's but... I've now paid $40 for two pies that I literally could not eat. I can't be the only one having this problem.
Good BBQ at Oliver's BBQ, big portions and reasonable prices. Baby back ribs were 🫰🫰, Next time I will get more sides from their food court inside. And the pit master was a chill guy.
My first visit to Oliver's. Seems everyone knew but me. What a wonderful treat. Everything you could possibly want from a grocery store and more. You could see, hear, feel, smell, and taste (oh yes, taste) the quality. Truly a great shopping experience.
