Crema's Take
“CommonWealth Coffeehouse strikes that rare balance between a serious espresso bar and a genuine neighborhood gathering spot in the heart of Weston Centre, where you'll find yourself lingering over a cappuccino as good as the croissants are buttery. The modern, stylish space draws everyone from laptop workers to coffee purists seeking standout roasts like their Sin Nombré, all while a curated soundtrack and nearby mural create an atmosphere that feels both polished and welcoming.”

Good spot for a quick coffee. The cappuccino was good and the croissants were great. Atmosphere was good enough. Played Radiohead and had a decent amount of traffic. Tables weren’t clean and it wasn’t clear where to put dirty dishes so they were kind of all over the place. Overall good spot for a quick 20 minute work check-in during the holidays.
Coffee Shop No. 507 Commonwealth Coffeehouse & Bakery Weston San Antonio, TX June 9, 2025 Located in Weston Centre in downtown San Antonio is Commonwealth Coffeehouse. The cafe is a great combination of elegance and a laid back vibe. The barista welcomed me warmly and quickly crafted a scrumcious cortado. I was distracted by a phone call and only took a few photos though. 🤷🏻♀️ Enjoying life one cortado at a time!
Stopped by the downtown Weston location of CommonWealth Coffeehouse & Bakery and loved the experience. The café has a modern, stylish atmosphere, and the mural next door adds such a charming touch to the setting. The baristas were warm and friendly. I ordered two croissants, and they were perfectly fresh with a marvelous crunch—absolutely delightful. They happened to be out of butter, but honestly, the croissants were so good on their own that it hardly mattered. My chai tea was excellent—flavorful and just the right balance. This location is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a great cup of tea or coffee paired with fresh pastries. I’ll definitely be back—Five stars ✨
Quaint little place for some coffee, and a quick bite. Didn’t get to try their coffee this time. We tried the hibiscus tea and the avocado toast. The bread was delicious, avocado was fresh. My husband liked his Nutella crepe but said it was a little too sweet for him. Would definitely come back and try their coffee and something else to eat.
Beautiful little coffee shop in a lovely location. The staff were professional and friendly and the coffee was some of the best we've ever had! The Sin Nombré coffee was DELICIOUS! Like Christmas in a cup! We will definitely return!
