Eggs and Jam

Everything we ordered was excellent. The MCJAM was rich without being heavy, great balance of sweet and savory, and the French toast bun actually works. The pancake was fluffy, buttery, and simple in the best way. The Mimosa Chicken and Waffles was the standout. Crispy chicken, light waffle, and the marmalade syrup tied it all together perfectly. Portions were solid, food came out hot, and we’d absolutely order all of this again.

It’s the atmosphere you come for! I do enjoy coming here and is fun spot for breakfast- enjoy the wait- the food is average with some items being great like waffles or pancakes! Overall nice stop during the week but the weekend it is packed.

I've been here 3x in the span of 5 years. The food is good, and inventive. I will say that I like their regular menu items more than their specials. The specials tend to be pretty sweet. Most recently, I had the "Fight for your right! To pudding!"--as suggested by the bartender. It is THE BEST thing I've ever eaten at E&J! The bread pudding was so soft and flavorful and the cheese was cheesin' and stringy! The addition of the sausage gravy and sunny egg really completed the dish! I've never even noticed it on the menu before. So glad that the staff know what they're talking about! The atmosphere here is always fun and friendly. Glad they have a wait list where they'll text you. Check online to see if you can join the wait from there! I will also mention that dogs aren't allowed on their patio even on warmer times. Fast, friendly service! The vibes were really fun with graffiti and hip hop music. The food was outstanding! Would love go back again soon!

Very original place. Can’t get enough amazing food in my face. Pleasantly surprised upon sitting down that I can drink the brown! A bar! I no go far. Original menu, all so yummy. Must get some to go in the tummy for afternoon. Delightful!
