Charlie's Café at Baytowne Wharf

We had a great time at baytowne so many things to do Can't wait for the next vacation

I am writing to express my concern about the employees at your shop. I went in to check out your menu and the girl who was working came out under a black apron underneath a cabinet or shelving unit in the end by the windows. This looked really weird to me. On the way out I saw that she went back under the black apron and appeared to be taking a nap. This was at 1:00 on a Sunday and might have been a slow time, but really, sleeping on the job? Very disappointing!

Coffee was good, service was quick. Everybody wants to hear a complaint, so here it is: I had the breakfast wrap, and it was so hot when I got it that it took me 30 minutes to eat it without burning my fingers. Zero legitimate complaints. I was even entertained by the crazy lady who told the cops that, "President Biden is on his way down here" before they escorted her out. People have complained about the service at Charlies- try going to the Red Slipper/Ruby Sneaker/ whatever the hell their name is around the corner and deal with rude, ignorant, lazy, condescending, inattentive staff. I'll take Charlie's every time!

I just had the BEST sandwich ever @ Charlie’s cafe… the roasted Turkey avacado on wheat berry bread. (Wheat berry bread was a vegan option and I am not vegan but the clerk taking our order recommended it… man was she spot on!!) So fresh and amazing!! Would HIGHLY recommend!!

Awesome food, awesome playlist and overall awesome atmosphere. Coffee is better than Starbucks ☕️ 💕 10/10. My husband and I got the breakfast flatbread with iced caramel lattes.
