Crema's Take
“Nestled in Destin, The Palms Coffeehouse charms visitors with its enchanted, cozy atmosphere and thoughtfully curated decor that makes it an ideal gathering spot for everything from casual coffee runs to Women in Business meetups. While the coffee itself earns genuine praise from regulars who rave about the quality of espresso drinks and pastries like Nutella croissants, just know that barista knowledge can be inconsistent—so come with clear expectations and patience. The space itself is the real draw here: a warm, inviting environment where you'll want to linger with a cortado and a muffin, even if the kitchen's food offerings are hit-or-miss.”

Visiting from out of town. Wanted a cortado and the barista didn’t know what that was even though it was on the menu… they said they didn’t have any cinnamon even though it is one of their specials…. Immediately left after having to explain what a cortado was…. Embarrassing for this place.
To call this a coffeehouse is a stretch. It is a report bar/restaurant that has coffee. Staff was friendly. It is nice inside for sure. But I wanted a cappuccino and was asked 16 or 20 oz. Which is just to say it is not a coffeehouse. But if all you want is a flavored weak latte, it is fine.
Absolutely amazing and almost enchanted space! We got together for a Women in Business event there last night. It was my first time visiting here. The whole atmosphere and decor were so different from what I have seen around here. I loved it! I didn’t get a chance to try their coffee, but the wine selection from the bar was amazing. Small quesadillas with a variety of meat were served, very delicious. Overall the whole experience and the space really were impressive! I’m coming back to enjoy it again.
Come here for the coffee not the food. This is a review is for the kitchen and not the coffeehouse. My coffeehouse review is separate. Our family of 4 ordered a breakfast burrito, ham and cheese omelette, honey butter chicken biscuit, and beignets. The food was okay. Be warned the beignets should in no way be called beignets. If you have had legit beignets you will be disappointed. They are more deep fried croissants.
My new favorite coffee spot in Destin! Decor and atmosphere are so cute and cozy, lots of great seating. The coffee was fantastic, friendly baristas and muffin and Nutella croissant were fabulous as well. Cannot wait to go back and try more bites and yummy beverages. Love this gem! 💎
