Crema's Take

Brenen's serves as a reliable neighborhood spot for quick breakfasts and sandwiches near the medical center, with freshly made salads and muffins that keep regulars coming back despite inconsistent service. While the casual, convenient vibe works well for grabbing something before a workout or between meetings, quality control issues with both the coffee (which reviewers describe as sour or off-tasting) and food accuracy suggest this is more about location and habit than exceptional craft or consistency.

Takes a while to get the food I had ordered. Also, have gone multiple times but the coffee tastes very bad. Sour/rancid taste and smells off.

The food is ok when they get your order right. I order from here a lot because I work in the building and often don't have time to go elsewhere, but I wish they had better service. Anything you add to anything you order costs $0.80-1.50 Xtra, but you aren't likely to get it. Even a bagel with cream cheese & jelly is almost guaranteed to be missing either the cream cheese or the jelly. Also, the staff will make fun of you if they don't approve of the way you changed your order. Add Chai to a hot chocolate? Who does that? What a weirdo! *hard eye roll* I just want to get what I pay for, without being mocked.

Brenen’s is a great cafe shop near Rpac and medical center. I usually get some food before workout. Their salad, breakfast muffin and sandwiches taste classic and fresh. I really like their Caesar salad dressing. The Chai latte tastes lovely without too much sugar.

The gloves they wear are clearly for show. I watched my sandwich being made and the person touched their pants, face, glasses several times in the course of a few minutes. Ultimately trashed the overpriced sandwich, its just not worth risking getting sick. To top it off, my chips I paid for weren't even in the bag. The coffee is good, otherwise just save your money and a potential headache :((((

Patrick's Turkey - this is a sandwich that costs more than $10. I didnt get onion or tomato! Didn't taste or see any honey mustard and there may have been a light spread or mayo on sandwich. Over all- Very DRY, & Not near enough meat (especially for $$) didnt love the bread which was most of the sandwich. Would not go back or reccomend it. Not busy as we went there while students were not on campus
