“This Belgian-inspired chocolaterie brings authentic European charm to Wilmette with their standout house-made chocolates and expertly crafted hot chocolates, particularly their showstopping Triple Chocolate blend that layers white, milk, and dark chocolate into pure indulgence. Beyond drinks, the crepes, pastries, and light fare create an ideal slow-coffee-shop atmosphere where friendly staff make you feel genuinely welcomed, making it the kind of cozy spot that keeps locals coming back year-round for both casual coffee dates and special occasion visits.”

Their specialty hot chocolate is delicious! I got the Triple Chocolate Hot Chocolate and it came out really quickly and tasted exactly as described: white, milk, and dark chocolate combined into a single drink. Definitely on the sweeter side, but I imagine the darker variants are better for those who have less of a sweet tooth. It wasn't the richest or thickest, but it is probably the best non-drinking-chocolate hot chocolate that I have ever had.
I got the almond croissant and the Mexican hot chocolate. Both were absolutely delicious. Really relaxing and cozy with very friendly people working!
Leonidas is one of our favorites. We occasionally buy chocolates around Christmas but we mostly go year round for the delicious food and European feel. The crepes and coffee are great! The quiche is incredible. But, they also have the very best avocado toast I have ever had with this unbelievable bread, microgreens, and smoked salmon. Plus this adorbs caramel apple cider is new! The place is slightly rundown at the edges but staff are super attentive and everything we’ve had is delicious!
Nice place with European atmosphere. I’ve been to cafeteria of this brand in Belgium few years ago and I loved it. You can find delicious chocolate here. I had fig sandwich and hot chocolate, taste was great, but croissant was a bit sweet for me. Recommend this place for breakfast🧇
My husband and I came in for the first time last week and we loved our experience! Jenna was super helpful answering our questions about different drinks and crepe options! I got the vegetarian crepes and he got the salmon crepes and they were both excellent! I usually only like sweet crepes, but these were great! We both enjoyed our cafe drinks as well. The cafe is decorated very nicely and it was a fun breakfast spot :)
