SAVANNAH - Big Bon Bodega

Crema's Take

This vibrant Savannah bodega punches above its weight with genuinely smooth, balanced lattes (the praline hazelnut is a standout) and creative breakfast sandwiches that justify the lunch crowds and parking hassles. Beyond the coffee, Big Bon Bodega excels as a full neighborhood hub where you can grab a perfectly executed cinnamon iced latte, a housemade bagel with seasonal spreads, and quality food that keeps locals coming back—just note their pizzas come premade, so customization options are limited. The indoor-outdoor setup and friendly staff make it feel like the kind of place where you'll bump into regulars and want to become one yourself.

Oh my goodness. Love everything about this place. A little difficult trying to get a parking spot around lunch time. But once you try their food you will understand. Indoor/outdoor dining is very nice, clean, relaxing, and quiet. The bagels are absolutely delicious. Their sweet tea is a perfect medium. Not too sweet but not too unsweet. Will be back many more times! Highly recommend.

Dining with Dirk: Birthday Breakfast Edition Started the day with a trek around Forsyth Park and then headed south to Big Bon Bodega. Cassidy was friendly. I ordered the 912 breakfast sandwich and black drip coffee. Both were delicious and hit the spot. A simple but perfect way to start celebrating the anniversary of my birth. — drinking coffee at Big Bon Bodega.

Been super hyped about eating here and it was so underwhelming it was sad. Asked to have the onions removed off of one of the pizzas and was told that they could not do that because they are premade. (Not what you want to hear) & when we got the pizza it tasted microwaved. But the cheddar mozzarella bagel 912 bagel with sausage was good. As a local I will not recommend or visit again.

Stopped at Bodego and loved it! Tried the cinnamon iced latte, praline hazelnut latte, a plain bagel with strawberry spread, and a sesame bagel with herb spread. Coffee was smooth and not too sweet, bagels were cooked perfectly, and service was super quick.

Pretty good breakfast spot in Savannah. They offer lots of food options so could probably satisfy many palates. I stopped here for breakfast about 15 minutes after they opened. There was no wait but as I left, business was picking up a lot so glad I came early. The interior is very hip, gives hole in the wall skater vibes, but a little more mainstreamed. I ordered the Savannah 912 and k-steak & egg. As well as one of their m&m cookies. The food was ready within 5 minutes and I took it to go. The bagels were eaten while they were still warm, and they were both decent. The Savannah 912 just tasted like a good bacon egg and cheese. The ksteak and egg was also good, but I do wish there was more filling. Overall 7.5 out of 10. Decent bagels and lots of options, but the value was for sure lacking. About 30$ for 2 bagels that weren’t very filling just doesn’t feel worth it. Was hoping for more from hearing about this place but it was just alright. I will say I really liked the m&m cookie though. That was a 9/10.
