Crema's Take
“This beloved neighborhood gathering spot in South Bend excels at creating that warm, familiar feeling where staff seem to know regulars by name and genuinely care about making your visit special. While the kitchen has mixed reviews on execution—particularly with their breakfast classics—the real draw is the comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere and attentive service that keeps locals coming back for the experience as much as the food. It's the kind of place where you linger over coffee and conversation, even if the turkey sausage isn't always perfect.”

My wife and I chose to grab some food here, since it was close to where we were staying. Service was good. Our waitress was pretty attentive to our needs. Menu had plenty to choose, but be sure you look for the specials on the large poster sheet on the wall. I was a little disappointed with the size of my meal which was 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs and 2 sausage links all for $11.99. I thought it was overpriced based on what I received, but since this is a local business I did not feel like I was being ripped off. If you are looking for a small, neighborhood diner experience this place is right up your alley. The location seems a little sketch and the condition of the building was rundown. Honestly, was a little nervous about how this restaurant would be, but it was okay.
I just spent my hard earned money from a door dash order only for my burger to be pink in the middle IM PISSED
My food was bland. The turkey sausage was dry, corn beef hash was extremely salty and seemed like it was out of the can. Maybe they have a better lunch option. The lady who rang me up did not smile one time.
If your wanting biscuits and gravy didn't go here. Taste like it came from a can and good luck finding any sausage pieces. O wait there is sausage but so small that they are almost non-existent. Also had orange juice, very gross!!!
Very nice neighborhood breakfast place. Cute atmosphere, staff are super nice and attentive. There's a family atmosphere, staff knows almost everyone who comes through the door. Food could be better to be honest. Eggs and potatoes are good but gravy isn't that great with the biscuits. Prices are alright, they the specials but nothing enticing enough to feel special. Its good for a social breakfast place and warm atmosphere but the food is mediocre.
