Cheri Coffee and Flowers
6726 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX
Crema's Take
“Tucked along Burnet Road, this charming outdoor-only spot pairs exceptional coffee with an unexpectedly delightful floral market, creating a uniquely Instagram-worthy neighborhood gathering place. The owner-operators Luke and Abby have assembled genuine magic here, from their in-house pastries (crafted by a pastry chef from Juniper & Ivy) to creative signature drinks like matcha with slow-cooked strawberry that locals can't stop raving about. It's the kind of place where the staff's warmth matches the quality of what's in your cup, making it perfect for lingering with friends or getting to know your neighbors over thoughtfully made traditional and creative drinks.”

Can't say enough good things about this place- it is the perfect chill neighborhood spot. The staff are super sweet and make everything themselves. Whether it was their new creative drinks or their regular coffee, I was addicted. Joseph's pastries, particularly the pistachio swirl and chocolate chip cookie are to die for. Sometimes they have beautiful mini bouquets of flowers on the weekends (also made by hand) and I am waiting for the chance to snag one up some day! They are a small local business which I love even more.
I got to meet the owner Luke and Abby, amazing people very genuine. You can tell right away that they really care about what they’re doing and about the people who come in. The pastries are made fresh daily, and it shows. They taste homemade and not like the typical pastries that sit around all day. Everything feels simple and well made, and they pair perfectly with the coffee. The coffee itself is also something special. The beans come from Nicaragua and were carefully picked out by Luke and his brother. You can tell they put real thought into it because the coffee is smooth, rich, and really balanced without being bitter. The whole place has a relaxed neighborhood vibe that fits Burnet Road really well. It’s the kind of spot that feels personal, where the owners are involved and you can actually tell they care about the quality of what they’re serving. Definitely a great place to stop if you’re in the area.
Omg the pastries - out of this world. The pastry chef is from Juniper and is making some magic with the croissants. The matcha with slow cooked strawberry is amazing. Love this new neighborhood gem.
I recommend trying the Cheri cream, super smooth. Great spot to hang out with friends. Resale shop, food trucks in the same area. Outside seating only available. Pastries baked in house!
I happened to be in the area and stopped at this small outdoor coffee shop that sells flowers off of Burnet. It can get a little hot waiting in line when the sun is in full force and there’s only a few shaded picnic tables but other than that it’s a cute addition to the area. There is also a taco food truck and pastry truck on site called My Sweetish Friend. There’s a good amount of parking too! Definitely recommend coming here on a weekend morning to chill.
