Legacy Cafe at West Lakes
710 S Tampa Ave, Orlando, FL
Crema's Take
“Tucked away in West Lakes, this family-owned cafe creates an intentionally warm, sophisticated living room atmosphere where you genuinely want to linger—think slow coffee mornings and leisurely breakfasts with people you care about. Beyond the excellent traditional espresso drinks, Legacy excels at generously portioned, fresh breakfast and light lunch fare that draws consistent praise from both locals and travelers passing through Orlando. The owners clearly pour themselves into the experience, making it the kind of hidden gem that becomes a favorite once discovered.”

Service and atmosphere was great, the Shrimp and grits was to watery not good to taste, the pulled pork had to much gravy and taste like goat. I will not be going back.
Legacy Cafe isn’t simply a cafe, it’s like walking into an atmosphere that was intentionally created with family in mind. Think of it as your favorite family members cozy and sophisticated living room. The bright decor, modern aesthetic and open exterior not only provides a beautiful and safe space but amazing view. I spent 3 days eating at this beautiful black owned restaurant located near Tinker Field in Orlando, FL and it did not disappoint me one bit. The food was absolutely amazing and the warm presence of the staff was so necessary after such an eventful weekend. Definitely adding legacy cafe to my list of places to return when in Orlando! Be sure to stop by and enjoy a meal, tell em Keke sent you! I highly recommend their vegetarian options (omelettes, veggie plates & Cuban bowl are so delicious) and also check out the beautiful work they do in the local community related to their non profit work. They are super dedicated to the growth and development of children in this industry, which is so inspiring! Support black family owned businesses!
This place was definitely a hidden gem! It is tucked away so it's hard to spot at first, but once you do it's going to be your favorite spot. It's a very loving family owned business. Let's start by saying the service is immaculate! Brittany and her father are so warm and welcoming. As a chef from Ga I appreciated the amount of love and attention that was put into the food and plating. Also, the portions are generous for the price. Trust me you aren't lacking on anything by making this your go to spot. I haven't tried their lunch yet, but looking at other guest it looks amazing as well. Can't wait to try more!
We came to Orlando for EDC Festival weekend and we found Legacy Cafe on Google and are super excited that we did. Their food is amazing. The owners are beautiful people with great customer service. These pictures are from our second time coming.
This was my first time here. Legacy cafe has plenty of options to choose from. More than I had expected which was great. I tried the chicken cuban bowl. Everything was fresh. It was very clean indoor and outdoor seating areas. I didnt wait long for my order. I would definitely go back to grab a bite when in the area
