Crema's Take
“Estate Coffee Company in San Antonio's Dignowity neighborhood is an espresso-focused spot that pulls exceptional cortados and rich, smooth lattes alongside thoughtfully roasted single-origin beans—one reviewer called it the best cortado in the entire city after visiting 15 shops. Beyond the coffee craft, it's got a welcoming, community-oriented vibe with cozy seating for lingering, a dog-friendly policy, and staff who genuinely guide you toward your next great cup, plus they host weekly car meets that add to the cool local energy.”

☕ 1 BEAN : This espresso delivers a confident, refined experience from start to finish. The cup opens with soft caramel sweetness and a shortbread, sablé notes, smooth and comforting, before lifting into bright, high almond notes that bring clarity and elegance rather than aggression. The acidity is precise and intentional, adding energy without disrupting balance. The body is silky and composed, and the finish lingers cleanly, leaving a clear impression of craft and control. This is an espresso that feels thoughtful, dialed-in, and expressive without trying to impress. No gimmicks, no excess, just precision, restraint, and confidence. An outstanding cup and a place I would absolutely return to!!!
Visited this coffee shop for the first time, it was busy as soon as they opened but the line moved quick. Enjoyed a lavender honey latte, the espresso was rich and smooth. Pop tart was delicious as well!
Coffee Shop No. 520 Estate Coffee Co. San Antonio, TX June 13, 2025 In four days I squeezed 15 coffee shops into my visit. Hands down, Estate Coffee Roasters served up the best cortado in San Antonio! Which is quite the feat because I thought the coffee scene was awesome and the coffee was delicious at almost every shop I visited. Estate stood out because the flavor was so definitive of molasses. When the barista handed me the glass the fragrance of the coffee was enticing and I couldn’t wait to taste it. WOW! What a flavor. After asking the barista to see the coffee beans she used I noticed molasses was on the list of ingredients used during the roasting process. Nutmeg also caught my attention so I made sure to sip my cortado slowly to savor every drop. On top of the cortado tasting delicious the barista cut the espresso perfectly so the texture of the drink was velvety and it was perfectly temped. Near perfections. Of the 520 coffee shops I’ve enjoyed over the last two and half years I would definitely put Estate Coffee Roasters in the top 10. I had one more coffee shops on my list, but decided to skip it. I wanted to leave San Antonio with Estate Coffee on my mind. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!
Cool little spot in the Dignowity area with good coffee and a cool vibe. A few tables and chairs in the space for people who may want to work in there. Seems dog friendly as well (I saw a dog in there). Plenty of parking in the area. I got a honey lavender latte and enjoyed it
Came here for the weekly held car meet at the side of the coffee shop. Over all very nice interior with good coffee options. The staff are very welcoming and even offer their own drink recommenarions. Whether it's for the cars or for the coffee this spot is a must go for a nice Sunday morning visit. 10 out of 10 experience and ill for sure be back next Sunday for another trip.
