Matcha Cafe Maiko

I love this place I go every time I come to charlotte to go to my doctors office. Unfortunately I came in and they removed my FAVORITE ITEM…. The banana pudding matcha . Ugh I could cry knowing this is off the menu. PLEASE PUT IT BACK!!! I’ll pay extra if I have to lol, please it’s so yummy

Love this place! Great matcha and unique flavors to add ice cream to your matcha drink. Some cons are related to the atmosphere and layout of this cafe. Lack of seating and tables so it’s not a good place to sit and relax for a bit. It can get very crowded and take a while to order and receive your food/drinks, but that’s to be expected when a cafe is good. Overall, would recommend this matcha cafe!

The cashier was really nice and let me sample several flavors!! Considering that I don't even really like matcha, the soft serve was really good!! I got a matcha latte with matcha and soft serve icecream on top. The ube was probably my favorite. The cafe is also really cute inside! Def would come again.

I love Matcha Cafe Maiko!! This is one of the best places to get matcha in the area. The menu has a great variety of options, but my personal favorite is the Blueberry Matcha. The matcha is always flavorful and made to perfection. The cafe is also cute and offers a great atmosphere. Employees are kind and more than willing to provide their recommendations. Don’t miss out on this place!

First timer though its been in my radar for a long time. 5 stars on matcha, black sesame and Ube soft serve like ice cream. Definate 5 stars in yhe chocolate chip cookie, because omg....its swallow your tongue great! To be clear, there is bot much selections over all, but that is there is delicious. Not overly sweet. 4 stars on atmosphere, as sorta smallish. Definitely not for large groups. Still nice tho. 5 stars on service but still a little slow because they custom make somewhat complex drink combos, etc. In short, if you like matcha, you'll love this place! Highly recommend!!
