Churn Cafe and Crêperie

Fantastic food and drinks! I got the creamy shrimp pasta and an Ube latte, which was beautifully presented. My partner got their fancy French Toast with chai tea. Both were heavenly. Perfect date spot and not too spendy!

The Ube Colada & Yuzu mimosa were delicious. The eggs Benedict was good- the yuzu hollandaise is tasty. The pandan waffles were yummy but the chicken was just alright. Our meals all came out at different times, unfortunately (there were 4 of us). The people who work there are very friendly, though. And it’s a really cute little place in an adorable neighborhood. They were pretty busy but we got sat right away.

Walked in without a reservation and was seated fairly quickly. I ordered multiple dishes to take home and all of the dishes were still good the next day! The coffee was pretty good, but it didn't taste too much like pandan flavoring. However, the chicken and waffles were fantastic!! Pandan waffles are super nostalgic for me and they definitely hit the spot.

Cozy little spot near downtown Portland. Saw that they had ube French toast and immediately had to try. And let me say I was not disappointed at all. The chicken and waffles were so good, the only problem I had with it was the fact that the chicken had bone so it took some time to cut. But besides that no complaints, the waffle was also really good too!!. Ube latte tasted amazing and I would come back just for that if I’m being honest.

Came here with my niece while she was visiting. I had not heard about this place before and she said it was all over TikTok. I was skeptical since most TikTok stuff can be aesthetically pleasing but does not taste good. But I was wrong! I ordered the crepes and berries which was full of cream and berries, no skimping here! The crepe wasn’t overly sweet. My husband got the kimchi scramble — it had potatoes,kimchi and two eggs and bacon. It was delicious as well. Not sure I’ve ever had kimchi with potatoes or bacon. My niece ordered the ube French toast. I think hers was my favorite!!!!! My husband and my order came out right away but for some reason, my niece’s order was delayed. We finished our food and hers still didn’t arrive. They felt bad so they comped her meal. We weren’t even complaining. Definitely good service and thoughtful!
