Awesome food.. Outstanding customer service.. Thank you
I had just enough time for a quick lunch before heading south back to Napa, and the Laurel Deli sure looked inviting. And let me tell you...It was! They turned a simple sandwich into something I thought about for the next 4 hours! It was deliciously amazing! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ and worthy of a stop!
Best Breakfast! The food was delicious and you don't go home hungry. My favorite breakfast spot while visiting from out of town.
We got the London Broiler and the Reuben, according to the waitress the two most popular sandwiches. Both were pretty terrible. The London Broiler comes cold without any condiments or sauces, the meat was completely, utterly flavorless and dry, and the two giant slices of red onion did not make it more appetizing. The Reuben was just totally underwhelming. The fries were plain and unsalted, as far as we could tell. Honestly, our toddlers’ grilled cheese and PB&J were by far the best items we received. The bill after tip was $78–for high school cafeteria-level food.
The Laurel Deli & Desserts located in beautiful downtown Fort Bragg on Laurel Street boasts a menu chocked full of good eating. My favorite are the cinnamon rolls, they are so good & huge. Have them heated with butter or plain. This morning they were out so we ordered breakfast instead. A Spanish Omelette with sour dough toast, salsa and sour cream, and a Gourmet Delight Omelette with sourdough toast. Both had hash brown potatoes. Savoring every bite, the omelettes were delicious, the hash browns were soft with a crispy outer texture. The toast was hot and buttered served with a jelly packet. Coffee is Thanks Giving coffee and is served hot, our cups kept full. Service is quick and attentive making sure we have everything we want. We've always had excellent service and the menu prices are affordable. The decor of the Deli is something else, an old Skunk Train engine sits on its own tracks just inside the doors. Many items used to maintain the railroad and it's trains are on display hanging overhead in the rafters. We come here for the excellent service, the outstanding food and, we never tire of looking around at the Skunk Train Memorabilia. It's definitely worth the trip to Fort Bragg from wherever you are.
