Crema's Take

Confidential Coffee is a vibrant cultural hub where expertly crafted signature drinks like their beloved cajeta latte meet thoughtful hospitality and genuine warmth from the team behind the counter. The space itself is a draw—filled with books, local artwork including a striking Chadwick Bosman portrait, and an inclusive LGBTQ+ community atmosphere that hosts weekly events, making it equally perfect for lingering over a notebook or meeting friends. Their creative approach shines through in unexpected flavor combinations like the Mazapan Latte and savory options like the Chorizo Breakfast Sandwich, proving this isn't just a coffee stop but a place where careful attention to both craft and community creates something genuinely special.

I had a great first visit here. The service was excellent—the young lady behind the counter was very inviting and professional. My coffee had a unique flavor.

Cozy, cultural coffee shop with books, a printer, yummy dessert and great artwork. Chadwick Bosman is one my favorites! So I love his giant portrait. Just a great space to stop in and try.

I frequent this place because it's really comfy and perfect for study. It's LGBTQ+ friendly with their being weekly events and delicious coffee drinks particularly their most popular cajeta latte (iced or hot). And Id like to particularly compliment their pristine bathroom. It's beautifully decorated and comes with helpful amenities unlike any other bathroom I've seen.

After a really disappointing latte at a nearby coffee shop, I came here and ordered their signature drink - and it was exactly what I needed. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The latte art wasn’t just decoration - it was crafted by someone who clearly loves coffee. You could taste the care in every sip. The atmosphere was welcoming, with a unique design that gave off a cozy library or old-school classroom vibe. It felt real, not over-styled, just authentic and comfortable. Only one downside: there’s a $1 extra charge for plant-based milk. That felt unnecessary, since it’s just a replacement, not an upgrade. Still, the experience made up for it. I left grateful and satisfied.

I ordered Chorizo Breakfast Sandwich and Mazapan Latte, and the coffee tasted like a sweeter latte. As for the sandwich, it has that small spice that kick in it adding more flavour to the sandwich. They also offer coffee beans, and the roasted date is also indicated on the beans that they offer, a bit expensive, though, for those enthusiast out there. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The only issue here while the interior is really great and gives out the cafe its aesthetic and personality despite being spacey. I feel like the seats and table were pretty limited. Other than that, they also offer outdoor tables. I would really recommend it if you're visiting the Long Beach area.
