Odd Sister

Crema's Take
“Odd Sister is a warm, intimate SoHo spot that feels like a carefully curated secret, with an atmosphere so inviting that regulars keep coming back for both the excellent coffee and creative food offerings. The space itself is a standout—think skylights, quiet back rooms perfect for lingering, and a vibe that's simultaneously cozy and sophisticated, making it equally great for a solo coffee session or a longer brunch with friends. They're known for their signature creative drinks and generous breakfast menu, though heads up that their menu does shift, so don't expect yesterday's happy hour pizza deal to necessarily be waiting for you today.”

The service and vibes are immaculate, I was a bit let down by the food. Came for the happy hour pizza deal and was told they have removed it from the menu. That was the main reason my party and I came, but decided to stay to try the food. I had a cappuccino that was great, as well as the kale salad with shrimp. Thank goodness I added the shrimp because the salad was just a wall of salt. It was a generous portion but impossible to get through. Friend had fries and she enjoyed them, husband had the short rib rice which he said was good but very one note and monotonous after a while. Restaurant was loud with loud music, had to sit close together to talk but it was a cozy vibe. Still, I would definitely come back and give this place another try.
The food here is really delicious and the vibes are cute! Came for brunch with some friends and sat in the last room far in the back which was actually a really nice atmosphere! Good skylight and quite roomie for a new york restaurant. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. A must try is the short rib fried rice, but everything was really good. We also had some eggs and bacon and the bacon was so thick and delicious. and a burger and fries. The fries were delicious.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Odd Sister Odd Sister is one of those rare places in SoHo that immediately makes you feel at ease. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warm, intimate energy that sets the tone for the entire evening. It’s cozy without feeling cramped, lively without being overwhelming, and effortlessly cool in a very neighborhood way. The atmosphere is a perfect balance of low lighting, good music, and thoughtful design. It’s the kind of place where you can actually enjoy conversation, whether you’re there for a relaxed dinner, drinks with friends, or a long night that slowly unfolds. Everything feels intentional but never forced. The food and cocktails are excellent. The menu is well-curated, with bold flavors and comforting dishes that feel elevated but approachable. Cocktails are beautifully made, balanced, and clearly crafted with care, making it easy to settle in and stay a little longer than planned. What really stands out is how naturally the night flows here. Dinner easily turns into drinks, and drinks turn into late-night moments without ever feeling rushed. The service is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a true SoHo neighborhood bar with great food, strong cocktails, good music, and an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and special, Odd Sister is absolutely worth visiting. A place you’ll want to come back to, not just once, but often.

Charred Creamy Scallion Sauce, Calabrian Chili - Beautiful cocktails Will absolutely be returning.
I had the extreme pleasure of having my birthday dinner at Odd Sister last night. I made a reservation online and communicated with Emily via email regarding the details. From.the very beginning I was excited to come here and everything from the communication, planning, venue, food, decor and service was top notch. Thank you so much to everyone at Odd Sister for making this a wonderful celebration for me. Will definitely come back again to try even more dishes. We ordered a variety of items from the menu, but stand out dishes for me were the spicy tuna appetizer, the crab linguine, and spare rib fried rice. Honorable mentions also have to be for their exquisite cocktails and also the margherita pizza, fries with aoili, and the lychee martini, espresso martini and paloma cocktails.
