They have the BEST empanadas on Longboat Key, they are flavorful and the pastry is perfectly flakey! 😊 The lunch special is my go-to order, 3 empanadas plus a freshly made salad/soup. My favorite empanada flavor is onion and cheese. I love dropping by for a quick bite whenever I'm in the area and I highly recommend this cafe!

I love healthy food, and this café was a real discovery for me. I come here every morning for breakfast after my run, and it has become part of my daily routine. Ana is an incredibly friendly, warm, and positive person, and she truly cooks with heart. Being here feels like visiting my mother’s home — everything is fresh, comforting, and made with love. Her burritos and empanadas are absolutely amazing and full of flavor. I’m so happy that such a wonderful, cozy place has appeared on the island. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates healthy, homemade food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Ana’s is such a hidden gem! We visited on one of the last days of our trip and if we would have gone sooner we would have been there every day! We had empanadas for the first time and they were fantastic as well as the homemade soup! Ana was so nice and welcoming.

Ana is a delightful woman from Argentina and it was pleasure to meet her this morning. A wonderful way to start our day. My wife had ham and cheese and onions and cheese empanadas while I had the Argentinian eggs Benedict. Ana said the tortillas for the empanadas were from Argentina as was the beef for my EB. My wife said they were both very good and very hot! I tried the first 1/2 of my EB as it was served and the second 1/2 with the Chimichurri sauce, which I preferred. The beef was exceptional. We both had a coffee which was good, but served in to go cups which detract from the flavor in my opinion. Not a fan of the paper plates and plastic cutlery for dine in, either. Bought a slice of tangerine cake which was very moist. All in all it was well worth it and if I lived in the area I would definitely return.

We ordered empanadas to go. We had beef, spinach, chicken and ham and cheese….they were so good! They were fresh, light (not greasy) Ana, the owner from Argentina was so nice! We will be back to try more! Welcome to Longboat Key!
