Crema's Take
“Tucked into Raphael Village, this warmly welcoming spot nails the art of slow coffee culture with expertly crafted cold brews and traditional drinks that locals rave about, paired with genuinely exceptional homemade pastries and a full breakfast menu where their bacon, eggs, and biscuits have earned a devoted following. Good coffee and yummy healthy eats, they have pastries including gluten free! Definitely recommend. Supporting this business supports great people.
Walking in the coffee shop and they made me feel welcome. The service was great love their cinnamon rolls and the Ice latte was perfectly made for my taste. I definitely recommend this place to everyone atmospheres very welcoming.
I stumbled upon this place on accident and it was an accident I am so glad happened. This place puts the continuing "ing" in AMAZING! I ordered the homemade buscuit with honey and butter, the dragonfly juice, daily decaf with honey, fries and Katherine's sweet potato hash! Everything was fresh, hot and well prepared. I was greeted personally by the chefs. Chef Greg prepared the food and if I could afford it, he would be my personal chef. Brandy was my waitress and she was a breath of fresh air along with being very attentive to my needs. Back to the food... the coffee was fresh and hot and gave the taste of fresh slow, stirring, drip. The grits were amazing with a distinguish taste that I couldn't quite figure out but made my tongue dance. The Katherine's sweet potato hash is a whole personality. I'm not sure what they put in it but it is just the perfect amount of sweet and savory mixed in warm and goodness. OMG!!! Where has this place been all my life. I ended my meal with a fresh dragonfly juice (orange juice and hibiscus tea), Lawd have mercy. They have $20 BOTTOMLESS Mimosas and $10 BOTTOMLESS drinks (juices, coffee, tea, etc). Not only are you getting a healthy and great meal but you are also helping a great cause, The Raphael Village helps Guild members with Different-abilities thrive in life and the work place. I will definitely become a lifelong supporter of this place. I do however hope they add a blackbean or walnut burger to the menu.
If you are ever in New Orleans, you must come and experience the Dragonfly Cafe! The food is phenomenal, hands down the best bacon, eggs and biscuits I’ve ever had. The flavors are unlike anything you have experienced before. You should definitely treat your taste buds to this restaurant. The restaurant itself is adorable and inviting and the staff are so welcoming and provide an exceptional environment!
They do amazing work with their work program, and the food is amazing. My friends and I all tried multiple different drinks and brunch items and every single thing we got was phenomenal. Tammy is an incredible baker and the food is unlike anything any of us had before. The atmosphere is wonderful and clean, and everyone is super friendly. Definitely highly recommend this place.
