New Harvest Coffee
10 Sims Ave, Providence, RI
Crema's Take
“This Providence roastery is built around education and community, where baristas like Britta elevate every visit through engaging latte art classes and espresso courses that feel more like fun hangouts than lessons. Beyond skillfully executed pour overs and espresso-focused drinks, New Harvest cultivates a genuinely lively yet cozy atmosphere that works equally well for focused work sessions, casual friend meetups, or date nights. The thoughtful touches—like offering taste tests before you buy and a welcoming vibe from the whole team—make it the kind of place where specialty coffee becomes an experience rather than just a transaction.”

Had so much fun at my latte art class! Britta and Iz were great teachers and cultivated a low stress environment. Overall such a great experience in a wonderful space and the coffee is incredible.
I took their Enthusiast Espresso course, which was well worth it! I HIGHLY recommend this to any home enthusiast or as a date night idea. Britta was an exceptional teacher who made it fun while also informing us on all of the basics as well as taking the time to get to know us and what areas of espresso making we wanted to improve on. The small class size (4 people) made it comfortable, and we got to taste the espresso and "diagnose" it ourselves until we made a good cup- and a delicious latte! The course also came with a freshly roasted bag of their espresso blend whole beans, New Harvest stickers and a notepad, and an informational handout! I can't express how amazing and informative this class was, and I can't wait to attend the other Enthusiast courses and eventually the Professional ones!
Absolutely loved the vibes at this spot!❤️🔥✨💅🌱🍵 It’s the perfect blend of cozy and lively—great for studying if you don’t mind a little background buzz🐝. There’s always something happening, from events to casual hangouts, which makes it feel like more than just a coffee shop—it’s a community hub!💃🕺 The space itself is super unique, set in a repurposed iron works factory, which gives it this awesome industrial charm🧱🧱. And I love that they take their coffee seriously but still keep things fun!🍵 Also, the fact that they serve both artisan coffee and whiskey? Incredible🥃 Whether you’re there to grind out some work, catch up with friends, or wind down with a drink, this place delivers. A must-visit for anyone in the area!🧑💻
Great coffee, great ambiance, and great baristas. It is ideal for a casual get together with friends, or a date, or simply for enjoying a great cup of coffee. It is also great for working or relaxing reading a book.
First time there. Smelled delicious waking in. Very cool. Different yet relaxing atmosphere. Was able to taste test before purchasing. Loved it. We purchased the Ethiopian Blend. We are taste testing with a French Press. Keep ya posted!!!
