Buenos Aires Café is one of my absolute favorite spots. The food is incredible—both the sweet and savory options are always fresh and delicious. Whether I’m in the mood for something hearty or something sweet, they never disappoint. My favorite thing there is their coffee. It’s honestly some of the best I’ve had. Even though they’re in the same plaza as Starbucks, I pick Buenos Aires Café every single time. What really makes this place special is the people. The women who work there are the absolute best—so warm and welcoming—and it’s the kind of place where they know you by name. It has that rare neighborhood café feeling that keeps you coming back.
Love this Argentinian bakery. It’s a small establishment where you take out mostly a variety of baked goods… but we love to stay and have some of their goodies there. So you line up for service, and it can be slow- the servers are meticulous to each customer and there is no way to “self serve” so each person has to be taken care of. You order, then pay, and whatever they cannot give you in a tray or bag, they will bring to your table in a bit. We usually have weekend breakfast with chorizo sandwich, a couple empanadas and a couple facturas, café con leche or a soft drink… and so we eat on the empanadas while we wait for the chorizo sandwich and coffees that usually arrive a bit later. Then we roll out the door taking our pastries (facturas) home for a later snack. So much delicious food! Note to the wise: try the facturas! Try their chocolate cake! Yummy!!
It was our first time trying this Argentinian bakery, I tried the empanadas and they were good, flavorful and well made, though a bit on the small side. The coffee, however, was too sweet even though I requested the employee not to add much sugar, so I wasn’t able to finish it. I haven’t tried their plated dishes yet, but overall it was an okay experience.
Stopped in for breakfast and some cafe con leche. Got the breakfast sandwich and it was great! Nice little restaurant. Tons of baked goods to choose from! Will definitely be back!
Spacious, clean, and filled with the aroma of freshly baked pastries, Buenos Aires Bakery in Pembroke Pines feels like a true Argentine bakery. Excellent quality across the board: Balcarce cake, pastafrola, pionono, facturas, alfajores, sandwich de miga, masas finas, and very good empanadas. The coffee is outstanding, and they also sell yerba mate, alfajores, galletitas, and dulce de leche to take home. However, prices are on the high side, and they suggest high tipping even for take-out orders at the counter. There’s also a minimum for card payments, so if you plan to enjoy a coffee and a snack, bring some cash with you.
