Crema's Take
“Second Story Books is a genuinely curated independent bookstore with three distinct sections spread across a beautifully restored building, making it worth lingering for hours with excellent coffee downstairs. The themed genre rooms and thoughtfully arranged nooks throughout the space create an almost treasure-hunt experience that beats chain bookstores by a mile, and the staff clearly knows how to handle both quiet browsers and book launch crowds. If you're looking for a place where coffee is secondary to the real draw—a real bookstore with personality—this is exactly what you're looking for.”

Excellent use of old space complete with a battery of antique ceiling fans and transoms over the doors. A bookstore made of countless nooks, with lots of seating as well. It's a climb up the stairs to get to, but well worth it. Formerly known as Personally Recommended Books.
